Match Duel: Evilswarms vs. Vanilla-Orichalcos
Single Duel: Dragunity vs. Gustos

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Results: 4/12 points

- Tester 2 vs. 1 Testee

Match Deck Construction Total: 9/17

- Number of Cards: 0/3
45 cards.

- Consistency: 3/8
In round one you got a nice draw engine out, that gave a quick advantage as you were able to draw into the cards you needed, as Ultimate Offering and Seal.
Round 2 was not as much in your favour. You did not get your engine to work properly, and you stagnated. Mostly, all moves you could do, was summon one and pass. This is the problem with Vanilla decks: If you don't run into the support cards soon, you will be helpless and get your monsters overrun by stronger effect monsters.
Round 3 was the same thing. You didn't get anything off, due to the lack of your support cards.

- Originality: 4/4
Vanilla decks are rare as it is and Seal decks aren't really common either.

- Side Deck: 2/2
15/15.

Match Performance Total: 13/17 points

- Focus: 2/2
Understood everything, was fast to follow and took his time when needed.

- Use of cards: 7/8
Even though the last 2 rounds were a beating, you used your cards as you could. I was very impressed by the use of your Ultimate Offering as you used it to summon a bossmonster dureing my Battle Phase and completly kill me from that point on. Many people neglect the ability of summonung in the opponent's Battle Phase, and even further don't think of the possibility of even making a tribute summon in that phase! Impressive play indeed!
As for the rest, you used to do a "stupid" play on purpose at the end of the match when you would lose anyways, like Reborn my Mandragora etc. I can't really count that into use of cards, as you always announced it with "for the lols" and it did not hit you in any way.

- Siding: 4/7
Faustian Bargain was a very nice side! I fell victim to it once and I really didn't like it.
Other than that, you had cards to push you monsters so they could all become some big beaters, which is the main point of a Seal deck after all. I just felt that your side deck wasn't prepared enough. Considering the high amount of Dark-archtypes things like Shadow-Imp. Mirror are just necessary and something like Summon Limit, could prevent me for going into XYZ plays, while you can calmly play your 2400 beaters turn per turn and knuckle me down.
Your side deck needs more preparation for opponent decks and cards that shut down opponent decks and let you benefit or at least unharmed.

Single Result: 5/5 points
I was killed by a flock of small, green birdies. Crying or Very sad

Single Deck Construction Total: 10/15 points

- Number of Cards: 2/3
42.

- Consistency: 4/8
I was kind off dissappointed. Gustos are knows for their fast pace style, getting loads of draws, shuffles and Synchros. Unfortunatly you often had to sit on one small bird waiting for something to happen. You Synchro summon only 2 in the whole duel, which is very weird, considering the archtype.

- Originality: 4/4
I rarely face Gustos. (But when I do, they give me that stupid lockdown. Sad)

Single Performance Total: 7/10 points

- Focus: 2/2
Same as above.

- Use of cards: 5/8
I feel like you should have gone into a few more big summons, especially at the end of the match where I had absolutly nothing on the field. You just sat there, on a 600 ATK bird and kept attacking, whilst you had the chance to go into some big Synchro and kill me much, much faster. And the end you got your Phoenix off, but you could have done that much sooner. You played it very safe, it could have turned very bad for you, but luckily my draws were shit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rulings: 5/10
Sangan Question was answered and explained correctly. Sangan's effect is mandatory, therefore it goes off, and cannot miss timing.
The Catastor vs. Grand Mole question was answered correctly, although the explanation was missing. Catastor's effect is mandatory, therefore once he enters Damage Step, he activates. Grand Mole is not mandatory, so he can be activated at wish in the Damage Step, including as a chain to Catastor's effect. So, Mole resolves first, sends both to hand/extra.
The Unicorn vs. Super-Poly question you answered incorrectly. To activate Super-Poly's effect you have to discard. That is a cost. So the moment you pay the cost you go down to the same amount of hand cards, therefore Unicorn's continious effect kicks in automatically. The Super-Poly tries to resolve, but Unicorn has already kicked in and destroys Super-Poly. The effect of Unicorn is continous, so it does not "activate" or "chain".

Attitude: 2/2
Perfect.

Deck Variety: 2/2

Overall: 57/90
During the match I did not have the feeling that you would have the necessary score, but here it is! Congratulation on Ra Yellow!
