If i created an open world zombie survival roleplay who all would join?
if i get enough people who want to do it i will start one.

if it is like the walkign dead im in

sorta. heres how it works in a nut shell.

people will create there character with a small bio on what happened to them with there first zombie encounter and what there plan is to survive. the roleplayers may team up to survive or travel alone. Sometimes it will come down to luck as to wether or not you can survive and some things such as how many zombies are in a door that your about to open will be decided by a coin flip or the roll of the die. the survivors may attack each other or work together. and if a survivor is bitten and turns they will roleplay as a basic zombie roaming the area they died in. once they die as a zombie they may create a new character and start over.
if there zombie is left and there is no one around for them to do anything to then they may create a new survivor before there zombie dies.

and yes it would be very similar to the walking dead.

it isnt a yugioh based roleplay so it wouldnt be like with duel disks, holograms, etc.
however since it takes place in the real world yugioh would exist the same way it does in real life and could just be played while nothing is going on to pass the time.

I would control the normal zombies then when survivors get bitten and die they turn and get to control there charcater as a zombie until they are killed.
after that they can create a new character.
But i will act as the storyteller who controls the zombies and maybe later on a few side characters who will be needed for the plot but not as a main character.

And no there aren't vampires its suppose to be like as if the zombie apocalypse happened right now in the real world.

Yes however you must say how your character got the weapon and if you use a gun it you will need ammo and if you use a sword it will eventually dull out. and you must have a way of carrying the weapons if you are carrying several weapons on your own. if it is just one weapon though you don't need anything to carry it.

hmm so he carry a sword and lets say a whetstone to sharpen it?

yes as long as you mention how he got both of these things.

Nevermind this i misread. How badly will odds be stacked against us? Just curious how many people will die within the first day.

What does this have to do with YGO? This about a Zombie apocalypse in the real world.

Just a side note: If we are going for a realistic feel, like the need to scavange food/ammo/etc. I think people should rersort to weapons that are usually available. Swords are a bit off, but things like handguns, baseball batts, crowbars should be more usuall.

You can actually get swords in the nearest pawn shop usually or other lil thrift shops o-o. Just saying if a zombie Apocalypse happened, I would go there and get one like steal it. XD I'm in I suppose.

Dependend on where it is set, those type of shops are probably more rare. I'd assume that they aren't really far spread in rural areas, whilst you might find more of them in bigger cities.
At least here in Europe they aren't really existent on a broad fashion, every big city might have one but that is about it.
I'm perfectly fine with it, though, as long as everyone gives a reasonable explanation were they got their weapon and don't turn into some kind of super-ninja/super-knight.

I guess I'll join up, too and depending on how far we can go with characters I might have mine ready to go already.

Hmm didn't know that Gallows well you're right it depends on the setting that would determine the kind of weapons that are available.
