Sorry guys for not posting the 5th one earlier but here it is mixed up with the 6th.
For this lesson I won't you to post the march ban list and post a ban list that you
Have created that you will think should be the march ban list instead the one knomai
Have made.
You don't have to make a big list of it, you can decide to make only a couple of changes of this ban list . Also I want you to state at least 3 reasons why you think this should be the ban list for march.
I don't care if you think this ban list is fair. Just do it or don't this lesson.

First things first, this is the current March 2013 Ban list.

Now i will admit that there were several cards on here that shocked me. Sangan got banned? Did he really deserve to be banned when Black luster Soldier is still running rampant? I saw no hits on Mermails nor Prophecy/Spellbooks and let's be honest here: High Priestess and Abyssmegalo need a limitation of some sort, even if its just a Semi-Limit. For that matter, why is Konami letting Lightsworns have ALL their things back now? Triple Judgment Dragons, triple Necro Gardna, and now triple Lumina again. All we need now is for Charge of the Light Brigade to move to two and Lightsworns can start sacking away. Shien's Smoke Signal wasn't necessary. Six Samurai are powerful enough without a bonus search Spell and they did amazingly well with just the two copies and Reinforcement of the Army.

I did not see any of the problem cards get touched, such as Grapha, Gates, Priestess, Abyssmegalo, and Rescue Rabbit. Fair enough Rabbit is already at 2 but his splash-ability is reaching ridiculous levels. I can understand Fire Fists/Kings not being touched since they just got released but Konami really could have done a better job on this format if you ask me.

And who thought Semi-Limiting Thunder King Rai-Oh was necessary? Were people honestly out there running 3 of this guy? I normally only ever hear people side-decking 2 of them and that's normally it. No one ran any broken plays with him, he wasn't vastly game changing, so why the limitation? Konami Logic.

Oh another thing: there are cards that have not seen Advanced Format in years, isn't time SOME of them were re-evaluated for today's meta? Cards such as Thousand-Eyes Restrict. We don't have Metamorphosis so there are not as many cheap ways to summon him. He can be used with Instant Fusion and that's practically the only good way to use him. Is he really so broken we can't let him come back? Can we really compare him to the infamous Chaos Emperor Dragon whom we all know will likely never come back?

How about Pot of Greed? A free draw 2 card. The first thing I hear is "Oh no it makes Exodia and Final Countdown and Chain Burn more consistent and blah blah blah." If everyone is able to play Pot of Greed, guess what? Ever deck becomes more consistent, not just the annoying ones. Pot of Greed could very well actually help the game more than hurt it. I mean, you have a 40 card deck, and an average of 2-3 Spells to search or draw with. The odds of you pulling Pot of Greed are the same as you pulling any other card in the deck: 1 in 40.

In short, I think Konami did a rather horrendous job on this list and hope they come up with something logical and decent this September. One can still hope for the return of the Dark Magician of Chaos but I'll just keep dreaming on that one.

I didn't post the list and then go back and remake the list, I simply talked about what I thought should have changed on the list instead.
