If anybody has seen the 5Ds episodes of Yugioh, then they would know that during the first season, the main antagonists were Dark Signers. This was a battle between light and dark, good and evil. The idea is that each 500000 years or so, the Signers and Dark Signers are revived to fight again. This is a never-ending cycle. I had an idea to bring these similar battles to ODA. Each person competing will decide whether to be a Signer or Dark Signer, and will also decide on a Signer Dragon or Earthbound Immortal depending on their first decision. Each team will receive a certain number of teammates depending on the number of Signer Dragons and Earthbound Immortals that existed throughout the 5Ds anime.

Story: 50000000000 (some random number) years after the original battles of the Signers and Dark Signers, Signers and Dark Signers are revived within the souls of the duelists here at ODA. Each of you must determine whether you are a Signer or Dark Signer. This will impact which deck you use for the duration of the battles, and which ace monster you will own...

Here that idea has been done . Didn't work too well the first time. Trying again wouldn't hurt much. But I doubt we would be able to do it again. The main problem is: People. Convincing some people is easy others not so much. Also they need to be at least somewhat active! They sometimes disappear from the earth....

The guy has a point... Earthbound Immortals aren't bad once you summon them. The problem is summoning them (2 tributes) and keeping a field spell on the field. Though there are other ways to summon them, and even ways of making certain Earthbound Immortals really overpowered. For example, tributing Hardened Armed Dragon for the summon of an Earthbound Immortal.

I use morphtronics and they arnt weak . Besides immortals are eaasy to counter

As your boss, i'm making this tcg only. Allow dark signers to search out field n make it indestructable, it'll make thins a lot more fair.

EDIT: i say we make it so the signer can only use 1 synchro: their signed synchro. also, life dragon thingie and powertool were used by the same person. so yeah. the thing i just said doesn't count with life stream dragon

nah. if you want to use the better forms, say that you want to use them and then there will be your dragons.

EDIT: i thought about this and i think that you shouldn't use quasar and nova. because you can then make decks about them (obviously) and frankly, it's even more bullshit towards dark signers
