As stupid as it may have seemed, it didn't bother, and she blindly went down the stairs, like she'd done it a hundred times before, but in fact had no idea where she was headed. |

| Palm trees line the ocean. Their shadows come together to make the usual stair-way.
Pride steps out and examines the area. He looks down and motions C.C. to exit.

The stairway closed and his shadows vanished.
"Unknown to you, but Nottu plans to add Droite's deck to his own. A very smart plan..."
Pride wanders over to The Coolest's body and snaps his fingers.
Shadows begin eating, but not until they hang it upside down. His deck begins pour onto the beach's sand. Pride picks up the deck and places it inside his vest.
He looks over to C.C.
"Where did you place Kira's body?"

Pride snaps his fingers and shadows appear in the cavern's entrance. They go, track down the body, grab the deck, feast on the corpse, and return to him.
Pride picks up the deck...
"HERO's, T.G's, and Chronomalies.... Not the best mixture."
He puts the deck inside his vest and looks back to C.C.
"I've got an idea for causing some mayhem..."
He smirks.
"It involves that volcano.... Interested...?"

He snaps his fingers and the giant shadow of the cavern comes towards them. Pride steps down from his sickle and watches as the huge wave comes towards them.
The pile splashes up to them, just as the ocean does.
The stairway appears and Pride exits the area.

| Ah, the beach! She finally made it! After the near everything with the shadow tyke and the volcano doing it's job of trying to destroy the area, she found a little calmer way to spend her time. Hopefully they didn't show back up. Arrogant, little Sod. Vevay sighed as she made her way down the white sand beach. Such a beautiful place for murder. The sand would cover the blood and the ocean would take them away to feed other carnivorous sea life.
A piece of drift wood became her seat as she sat there with her knees bunched and her arms resting on them. The sun was setting. Back in her district, families told others that right at sunset, the sun would make a bright flash right before setting for the night. Had to make sure your eyes were open at that right moment. Something about reflection traveling on the waves. Only happened on the ocean. Whatever.
Since the piece of drift wood wasn't that tall Vevay fell back and landed on the soft sand. Better bed than the ground was, that was for sure. Staring up at the pastel colors swirling in the sky, she decided that a bath would do her good. Getting up off of the sand, she walked over to the edge of water and that's where she stripped. Of course not entirely naked, didn't want to give the entire world a peep show. She would have to charge for that.
Her boots, pants, tank top came off and was placed in a pile out of water's way and while in her bra and boy shorts, she walked into the warm water and started to clean the dirt and soot off of her body. She kept an eye out for peeping toms and sea creatures that would try to sneak up on her. She was too far on shore for them to come after her but still, she was cautious as ever. |
