Volcanics are a good way to go. I personally love Torture Beatdown. You use slow burn and beat sticks.

i've tried volcanics before but i wasn't good with them though.
although they're still a pretty fun archetype.
you could also try lavals im not sure if there pyro but they are at least fire.
