So I would first simply like to encourage you all to please try and be as swift as you can in creating a character. That said take your time enough to make the character to your liking, I simply want to make sure y actually get around to doing just that. I can assure you, most everyone will enjoy this RP, and be capable and comfortable taking part I it. At least, that is the goal.

It has come to my attention some of you may have trouble with the whole character creation process. Well I extend now this offer to come to me specifically for help. You can either post any ideas you need help with. Questions about background and such or personality you might be struggling with and I will give you ideas to the best of my ability in a response post. Like wise, you can also pm me. But this thread is open for Q&A.


Here are a few general tips for your first character.

1: If your new to this. Forget originality. I mean that. Do not be afraid to literally rip every single aspect of a character you love. And then plagiarize him/her as your own. Meaning if you want to RP AS Zero from megaman. By all means be my guest. Although this sounds counter productive. For your first RP experience, this may allow you to place some of your own emotions and ideas into said or constructed character, and in the future, you can change them, even if it's slightly. Over time, that will become something new. You might still be a cyborg, but you won't be Zero anymore. Remember, no human thought is truly original .

2: Don't be afraid to ask for help. You could ask your mom, an English teacher, a friend online or at school. Or you can ask me or some other creative mind here at ODA. For ideas I mean. We all ask for help, and you have to take inspiration from somewhere, no?

3: don't be afraid to get weird. It's your character. Not mine, and not someone else's. What ever interests you. Or to a great extent. Whatever role and ideas you want to experience for this singular RP. Take them and run with it.

4:Simply put. Get ANYTHING done. You cannot RP, and therefore get any better at RPing by failing to participate. Even if you type something up and don't like it. Remember, you can always revise your character sheet. And having anything up will get you in this RP. Having nothing, is the only thing preventing you from experiencing the game itself.


Now that said. Get to making those characters guys. As I said before. Feel free to leave questions below.

Wondering the same with my character. Am I kinda suppose to be introduced at the start and then join whenever there is need for me?

Hero you will actually introduce yourself along with me. That said, you and I will make a public announcement of sorts to spike "interest" in the hunt for these legendary weapons.

Super. Technically, you can RP at the beginning with your boss. Talk about him own side adventure perhaps being some sort of being within the "maze" years before our "adventurers" get there. Or whatever else you want to do. Again, I'm giving ALOT. Of slack in this RP, as opposed to more structured ones I may host in the future. But, since your a boss. Do try to avoid jumping in with the mix of playable characters until the time is needed. More on that once things get under way.

On a side note superion. I hereby give you permission to make a character to Jin the adventurers as well. So you don't just pop up and disappear again in one boss fight that way. So feel free to make some generic character to play throughout the whole story with if you want. If not, your choice.


Edit: hero to better answer your question, you and I will be introduced. Then sort of go into an "observer phase" for a bit. And jump in and out of the scene, fairly often, to que and aid in certain events.
