Recently I have been running a Yu-Gi-Oh! forum (duh) but I just realized... I run the forum whose subject is a game I don't even play anymore.  I am going to make one final attempt to get back into the game, but I am going to make a few changes to how I do it.  I want to be both a fun AND competitive duelist.  So I'll take part in tournaments that are all fun and games as well as wars and such.  In the past I have always really done one or the other, and gotten completely burnt.

To do this, I have a few goals added and divided into primary goals which are the final result that I want to come up with, and then secondary goals that I want to achieve in order to help me advance to those primary goals.  (I know NONE of you guys care, but getting it down and posted makes me commit to it more.) I'll add more as I think of them.

Primary Goals:

  • Achieve Orichalcos Dorm (Win Regionals)
  • Get into a top 5 DNF Team


Secondary Goals:

  • Get a rating of 500 on DN
  • Win a Locals
  • Get on a DNF team (rank not mattering)
  • Get on a top 20 DNF team
  • Get on a top 10 DNF team
  • Get in Ra Dorm
  • Achieve Obelisk Dorm (whoever tests me, don't be afraid to fail me.)


One more thing:  I need an advanced, skilled duelist to help me out and learn things about the format, and learn mechanics and rulings and such.  Anyone want to help me out?

Good point. Make easier goals as milestones, but aim higher for the big goals

Lol okay, but I still think 500 is to low. I already got 700 and I have hardly dueled at all this format except for locals or tournaments (which is in unrated).

id be glad to help you when im on my comp . Im constantly dueling in rated (noone cares about rank it will just reset) also dont woryy too much its very possible to be competitive and fun at the same time most of my rated duels ive won with my old nub decks XD
