Madolche Queen Tiaramisu
What is Madolche Queen Tiaramisu? 2 Level 4 "Madolche" monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target up to 2 "Madolche" cards in your Graveyard; shuffle those cards into the Deck, then shuffle cards your opponent controls into the Deck, up to the number of cards returned. Now Madolche Queen Tiaramisu is pretty much a compulsory evacuation device on crack. Not only does it largely increase the OTK potential with the addition of hootcake, but it also has "clauses" in its card text that hinders your opponent to read and counter your effects with forbidden lance, or cards like Safe Zone, a trend used in decks like Evilswarm. Not only this, but it eliminates heavy backrow and any big beaters in the way, that will open up ways to win. "then shuffle cards your opponent controls into the Deck, up to the number of cards returned." Look at the card text. Notice that Tiaramisu does NOT target the cards you are returning to the hand on activation of the effect, or as a cost. Meaning that the cards are not selected, until the resolution of the effect. Since your opponent can't chain in the resolution of an effect, your opponent MUST use Forbidden Lance and any other card effects to read you. In this case, you can just pick other targets to return to the hand, and therefore forcing out all the cards your opponent will play, and getting rid of any other resources your opponent has on the field. Also, since Tiaramisu has the "up to the number of cards returned", if you have 1 Madolche monster in the grave, and you detach from Tiaramisu, you can take the same monster you just detached, and return it to the deck. This allows you to return 2 cards now, instead of just 1, which you originally had before the effect of Tiaramisu. Some other values of Tiaramisu? Yes, there is. When you use the effect of Tiaramisu along with having 2-3 tickets, the monsters you returned can be special summoned, instead of returned to the hand, thus creating the OTK. With the format leaning towards OTK, and or locking down everything your opponent has, this has fallen down the Line of a Tier 2 deck. Video of the Madolche OTK
