i played this game a long time ago and remember it being stupidly hard. well i recently began playing it again and its not as hard as i remember. you just gotta take your time and duel other people without rushing through the story mode. any one else play this game and what do you think of the difficulty?

If you found that hard, you should have tried Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for the Playstation. You could only play one card per turn, you could not buy any cards instead you had to win them, which resulted in you getting loads and loads of weak cards. The only way to get strong monsters early on was by fusioning, which was incredibly random. You did that by marking 2 or more cards on your hand with a number and they would then try to fusion in that order. It could go completly wrong and you would get nothing or it could go pretty well and you would end up getting a good monster.

| actually ive played forbidden memories and the fusions aren't random. theres a long list of all the different combinations such as this type plus that type. or this type with less than 1500 atk + this type. etc.

Yup. But that list was never included in the game, so you never really knew if it would work or not, except if you went and looked up the list somewhere.

back when i had duelist of the roses me and my dad would test out combinations and write them down whenever we found one. the same could be done for forbidden memories. thus creating a basic list for the person to have all there available fusions to use without having to look one up (if your willing to spend the time to write it down)

Problem with that was, that you needed fusions to win most duels, and then again you had to win those duels to get stronger, easier to fusion cards. I remember well that a Dragon + Thunder resulted in a Thudner Dragon (1600ATK), which was useless. If you now had a dragon that was over 1600 ATK you would get Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon (2800ATK) which was a good card. It was just a pain in the ass to get good monsters that resulted in big fusions. I enjoyed that game though.

yeah me too speaking of other yugioh video games why hasn't konami ever said anything on the next yugioh game (world championship 2013 or whatever its suppose to be) i just wish they would at least tell us there not making any more yugioh games or that they won't be making one for a while so i could just stop focusing on it.

Uhm, I guess you can forget about that. The games sold like crap, so I'd say there aren't any plans on continuing that soon. Maybe if ZeXal is more successfull they'll make a new game, who knows.
