Extremely. There is one issue with it though. If it is countered, it is destructive. sending 4 crystals to the grave is the cost, so it can be countered even with the 3+ Rainbow Ruins ability.
Second off it is impossible to counter a counter due to you not having the ability to have different cards out. So the jist of what i am saying is as soon as its played, 80-90% of the time one of the people dueling is screwed right there. My advice is when going against CB even if your opponent has only one crystal beast in their backrow or maybe even none at all, save a counter ^_^
