| After talking about crystal beasts with Nate i got inspired to post this and wondered what crystal beast everyone is. This is based off of mostly 2012 U.S. birthstones but some of them 15-20th century and some 1912.
January: Amber Mammoth*
February: Amethyst Cat
March: Cobalt Eagle*
April: Sapphire Pegasus
May: Emerald Tortuous
June: Amythest Cat* (based off of cymophane aka Cat's Eye)
July: Ruby Carbuncle
August: Topaz Tiger
September: Sapphire Pegasus
October: Amber Mammoth*
November: Topaz Tiger
December: Ruby Carbuncle
* there was no exact jewel for the birthstone that is covered by the 7 crystal beasts at any one point in time. I chose one that at some point in time there was a gem that at least appeared like the one represented by either the name of the gem.
