Card of the Week - Chronomaly Nebra Disk

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Chronomaly" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Chronomaly Nebra Disk".
If this card is in your Graveyard, and all monsters you control (min. 1) are "Chronomaly" monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, in face-up Defense Position. You cannot activate cards or effects the turn you activate this effect, except "Chronomaly" cards.
You can only use 1 "Chronomaly Nebra Disk" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

One of the newer cards for Chronomaly, it still is OCG only. With the Search effect, it brings considerable consistency to the Chronomaly Archetype. With previously only Crystal Skull, they now have a consistent searching cycle. Nebra Disk searches for Crystal Skull, and Crystal Skull then searches for a new Nebra Disk. That way, you maintain a good hand, plus it thins your deck even faster.

Also the fact, that Nebra Disk can search any "Chronomaly" card, instead of only Monsters, like Crystal Skull. So it can also search for Babylon or Pyramid Eye Tablet. So it can search more then just monsters.

Added to this, its secondary effect allows you to summon it from your Graveyard in face-up Defense Mode. Requirement for this is to have only Chronomaly Monsters on the field. Not the most difficult of things. The only downside is that after summoning it that way, you can only use Chronomaly effects, and no others.

All of that combined, it's a really good asset to the archetype. And possibly the addition they've been waiting for. I really like the card myself, and hope that it inspires others to play the Deck.

This card is the single reason why I run chronomaly...don't belittle it! The COTW cant always be a staple... sometimes it's things that just so happen to be good Very Happy

This card is great, no other comments needed, it simply gives Chronomaly's the consistency and speed to be even more versatile and more of a force to be reckoned with.

Chronomaly monsters ARE cool, I have an entire deck full of them. I need to get this one.

I don't play competitively. yet. I mostly run a Dragon deck anyway.
