I agree with Sylveraine's opinion on this. It's fake. Reinforcement wouldn't go to 2 and Goyo would stay forbidden.

Formula synchron at 2 is too good to be true

It was on the official yugioh site, I highly doubt its fake. I feel this list is fine, I mean it didn't hit everything a lot of players wanted ( i.e. limiting one of the hands ,limiting sanctum or maralltach, limiting or banning soul charge etc. which i personally think is too much minus maybe limiting soul charge ). I expected geargiagear to be hit and i am sort of happy it got hit, Goyo coming back was definitely a shock but the card is not as broken as it once was not saying that its not good, because it obviously is, but we have so many ways to stop him ( i.e. Fiendish Chain, D prison, Mirror Force, Black Horn of Heaven, Bottomless Trap Hole, Etc. ). And this format isn't as synchro based so not every deck can run him. Honestly the rest of the list to me is irrelevant.

Oh yeah. forgot that his eff is getting changed. Enlighten me?

Dark Strike Fighter got a new errata i don't think goyo has a new one yet ( or at least an announced errata ). But tbh think of it. In this format most decks have a primary focus of xyz summoning and when goyo destroys an xyz monster it only gets that monster with no materials which isn't that great ( assuming you can't use it for gaia dragon the thunder charger or something ). Also think about decks used right now. Hands ( specifically fire ) would be a easy way to stop goyo especially since he's at one and reborn is gone. Lightsworns/dragonsworn really lose nothing to goyo, Bujins would make it hard for goyo to even get its effect off in the first place, Fire Fist/ Fire Hands could just pop it, etc. In this meta right now while goyo himself has a good effect its not as if the card itself is gonna break the format by its return due to him being so vulnerable this format. I do see him being decent against mirror match-ups but like i said in an earlier post not every deck can run this and its at one so its not as big of a deal. I sort of see it like the return of bls good cards overly hyped up ( hence the price jump ) but not being game defining or breaking a format.

Pop is right; It's Dark Strike Fighter that's getting a new effect wording. Not Goyo. He's right though. Goyo is irrelevant this format. It'll be used like fuck for maybe the first few weeks of the format and everybody will be like the noobs once they realize 3 Mirror Force isn't that good.

I'm personally really happy Formula is at 2. This is gonna make Multiple Quasar builds a blast for me since I love summoning difficult monsters~ Lets face it, you gotta feel like a boss after summoning Quasar or Red Nova

Well...when your only Formula Synchron is banished.... it becomes a slight problem . True, they made a new level 2 synchro tuner but it isn't nearly as good as Formula Synchron. Doesn't give back the hand you will lose during the process of this....

Before there was a deck that could do it without losing too much of a hand. However Rekindling was limited so....it's no longer a viable way of making Quasar. I mean...in that deck getting rekindling while it was at 3 was hard enough. With 1 it's more of an impossibility.

1 Gold Sarc, 3 Upstarts, 3 Dark World Dealings, 3 Dualitys, 3 Molten Conduction Field, 1 Foolish Burial, Maiden effects going off, etc. Lavalquasar had enough thinning/drawing that it made it decently doable to get 1 of the 3. I'll agree though it's horrible now with only 1. It's like trying to run Final Countdown this format. 2 Formulas I feel will help the Synchrons but it won't make them THAT much more powerful. Unless you're really trying hard to make 2 Quasars you aren't gonna need 2 Formulas anyway. It was one of those cards on the banlist that just wasn't needed.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people did the same. It's gonna be an interesting format to see what'll go on top. Well I personally run a Dragon Star Quasar deck, I'll admit 2 Formulas are unnessisary but It's still a nice thing to have a second to play with. Now I won't have to be so reserved about using formula. Having him at two isn't a game changer but it certaintly doesn't hurt to have right? xD

If you're really set on bringing out more than one Quasar than sure but aside from that it'll do almost nothing. I gotta admit it's better than running that other level 2 tuner synchro so that's a help if people still run that.

I love the double ROTA, makes all warrior based decks so much more consistent(and stronger). Including my battlin boxers.
Start off: bad hand+rota--> still awesome hand(with sparrer or headgear),
midgame in the imaginary case you got nothing left, rota: switchhitter--> yoke,
endgame: rota--> switchhitter for other bb to summon yoke or directly to summon c105 or other strong bb in grave summon BAM ENDGAME.
