So this is potentially one of the most retarded deck ideas I've gotten in a long time. When I first joined DN I ran a LV deck revolving around Horus the Black Flame Dragon and while I did lock some people amazingly, the deck sucks compared to what I have now. Back in my noob days I used to main Mystic Swordsman LV2 in my irl deck. Now I want to see if I can somewhat make a deck revolving around my old friend. Now yea this deck is probably going to suck. Maybe even worse than my Science Soldier deck. I figured a Ghostrick engine boosting the deck may help because Swordsman needs to kill a face-down defense position monster in order to instantly kill it + level up. I'm open to any help with the deck that may make it run faster + slightly more consistent.

wow long ago was i was a nub i ran these too except with silent swordsman. Also i never ran lv 2 it seemed beyond useless. Anyways my suggestion is pot of duality over upstarts and a third level up

The level 2 has potential too though. Considering the fact that I can't just normal the level 4 it makes it a little weird to use without the level 2 in the mix. Even though he's a noob he needs love too :c

I feel like that'd be about as useful as Giant Rat. It'd be cute but summoning it in attack position isn't gonna help when I'm getting swarmed. It's a thought though

Fluff, once you'll be ok with your deck, i'm challenging you on a duel vs my Masked Knight lv deck.

Maked Knight is also a LV series used by Gill Randsborg. Utilises a burn strategy and can be ssed every standby phase. lv 3, lv 5 and lv 7.

...so how are you going to use the LV monster if it doesn't exist? ._.

Edit: I literally CAN'T make a good Mystic Swordsman deck. Sasu and I noticed something horrible. Read the card text carefully. The only way its good is by killing set monsters, but the only way it LEVELS UP is by killing regular monsters. Its a card effect to kill set monsters and battle to kill regular monster THUS leveling up. So nooooooowwwwwww I think it's time I took the liberty of doing what I should have done last night when I made this:

Dark Lucius, allure queen, and ultimate insect ALL suck beyond the level of even mystic swordsman lol. If you want to make em go ahead but even with expert help those LV monsters will continue to suck for the rest of time ._.

Vanillas have more support than LV tbh lol. The best of LV monsters (being Horus + Silent Magician) are good I'll admit. But ones like Allure Queen and Ultimate Insect are just flat out bad no matter what ya do. Not saying that ALL vanilla decks are godly because I can tell you for a fact that despite me running Ojama relatively well in the past I will say that they're a shit deck.

You're basically challenging me to make this deck good. Which level monster you want me to kick ass with?
