ODA Balcony

Just outside of the Prom dance floor, through the french double doors, lies a peaceful balcony looking out over the front of the academy. Students come out to catch their breath while faculty enjoy a little quiet from the music.

Another year its been ehh?.... well Misa, its been a long road.

The night was calm and still. The chill in the air was bracing. Upon the open balcony stood a lone man with short, wildly spiked hair. His white duster fell just above his knees and was trimmed in a golden yellow, symbolizing his dormitory. He adjusted his black framed glasses before taking in a deep breath. It felt good to be here. There were many Duel Acadmies in the world, but none was more of a home to Nathaniel Nottu than the Orichalcos Duel Academy.

It had been a full year and some change since Nathan had enrolled here. He'd seen it all. From the lowest of the low to the highest rank possible and now he was back to a common middleman. A smile crossed his face, he forgot how much he liked it here.

He turned to face the building. Inside the main auditorium, students were placing the final touches on the decorations for the first annual ODA Prom. Lexi was directing students and faculty while others were taking a breather. It was a shame knowing that Lynn was no longer around, Nathan thought to himself as he turned away again and leaned onto the railing, she would have loved to see the prom turn out so well.

Jason is in black dress pants and a white dress shirt with the matching blazer around his back. The deck case is opened and Lightpulsar Dragon is taken out.

"Nottu, its been a long year hasn't it? We've made quite a bit of memories, we've both made huge strides and our decks had to adapt in different ways and I'm proud to say this Dragon is still my avatar, even now. I can't wait what the future holds for this deck. I do hope we enjoy our prom night too. Lynn would've loved it if she was here in person."

The Ra Yellow student turned to face his friend. A more plesant smile found its way to Nottu's face now, remembering all the days gone by.

"Right you are Jason. So much has happend in the past 525,800 minutes," he replied with a smug look on his face.

Jason Ponders.

"Now then, I wonder where is Misa? Nottu, did you bring a date also? I presume you did, knowing you well enough that is."

He chuckled and turned to the building, leaning against the rail with his arms folded over his chest, "I'm not technically attending the prom Jason. I am a chaperon. Blazer, I am not sure about. If she attends then she'll be my date but if she doesn't want to be here, I'm a lone wolf for the night."

Jason's remark was enough to make Nottu's eyes widen and narrow on him, "What are you talking about? Who? Lynn? I didn't even count that after so long."

"Fine, she counts. Now who else are you thinking?" He stood up from the rail and faced him, "I'm interested to know who else you think has a 'thing' for me."

His face remained stoic but his voice reflected slight annoyance mixed with curiousity.

Misa is wearing blue dress and black dress shoes. Her hair is curly.

*Walks to the balcony and sees Jason and Nottu&walks up to them* She says, ''Hey you guys, Sorry I'm a little late I couldn't decided what dress to wear and finally decided what one.''

Nottu's eyes turned to the newcomer. It was Misa, another friend he had made months ago here at ODA, "Well hello Miss Misa. You look lovely tonight."
