Thanks goes to Blazer for inspiring me to post this topic.

Everyone has at one time or another created their own fan character for Pokemon. Trainers, ex-Rockets, the list goes on and on. I have made several characters and now its time for everyone to share theirs.

Post here with your Pokemon OCs (Original Characters) backstory, personality, and so forth.

Name: Johnny

Age: 20

Profession: Roams across the pokemon regions to gamble in pokemon battles.

Description: Semi-long, dark brown hair. He wears black jeans with his favorite vanilla colored t-shirt with a tree on the front of it as a design. Occasionally at times, he'll wear a light black zip-up jacket over his usual attire.

Bio: Leaving at an early age, Johnny set off for his pokemon journey in the Hoenn region at the age of 11. His parents left him at an early age and dropped him off by the trainer school in Rustboro city. One day when he was roaming around the outskirts of the city, he encountered a pokemon that apparently was foreign to the region of Hoenn. A wild shuckle appeared out of some trees nearby. It looked to be a very young shuckle at that. With a solid glance, Johnny reached into his jacket pocket and threw a premier ball that the president of the Devon Corporation in Rustboro gave to each of the trainers enrolled in the trainers school. Almost willingly it seemed, the shuckle was caught in the premier ball. After some time of training, Johnny challenged the Rustboro City gym leader and won. After his victory, he set off on his own journey travelling region to region collecting all of the gym badges. Now with several trusted pokemon he's caught over time like Starmie, Volcarona, Hydreigon, and Lucario, he currently roams the Kalos region gambling money to get by. The fun and passion of pokemon battles matters more to him than the money he wins, though.

Pokemon showdown roleplay? Idek how it'd work, but it's worth a shot if it's up for an idea. Could kind of work just like the HG.

We wouldn't need to use Showdown for a roleplay. PS is more usable if we were to set up our own League.

Name: Conor Knight
Age: 25
Profession: Former Frontier Brain/CEO of Conor Knight Industries
Desc: Six foot one. Bright blue eyes. Raven blue hair. Black framed glasses, thigh-length blue coat, black cargo pants, grey Converse. Specialized Mech Arm on his left arm.
Bio: Conor was born in Saffron City to Mitchell and Tracy Knight. Mitchell was the head of the Virtual Pokemon Project at Silph Co, successfully creating the Pokemon known as Porygon. Soon after, Team Rocket invaded the Company and stole the Porygon and placed it as a prize at the Celadon Game Corner. Mitchell spent his next month's pay to try and win back his prized creation. After winning it back, Mitchell gave the Porygon to his son Conor for his birthday. Not very long into the young boy's birthday did Rocket grunts arrive, demanding the Porygon back from Mitchell, claiming he had cheated. He refused. The grunts gunned him down on the spot, Conor watched it all happen in front of him.

When he turned twelve, Silph Co hired Conor onto their Research and Development team. Within the first quarter, Conor had developed the Up-Grade. It would add new coding and possibilities to Porygon and could even allow it to operate in space. The newly evolved form was named Porygon2. Silph made a contract with the Mossdeep Space Center and a test mission was made for Porygon2. However, glitches with Porygon2 cancelled the mission. Conor got to work once more, trying to undo the up-grade's mistakes. He was utterly confused when the 8 GB disc he was programming showed that it had 1 TB of data on it. When Conor used this new up grade, Porygon2 evolved once more into a far stranger Pokemon. Its eyes were bugged out and it no longer held the same physical form. Conor dubbed it "Porygon-Z" saying that the Z was to represent the end of possible outcomes.

Years after, Conor left Silph Co, afraid that his own personal inventions and designs might be taken and sold under their name rather than his own. He moved to Olivine City where he became a member of the Johto Battle Frontier as the Brain of the Battle Factory.

While in Olivine, Conor met a girl named Kari. She was one of the only people who seemed to understand him when he went on a tangent about his inventions and work. The two dated for a time and finally Conor asked for her hand in marriage. It was only then that he discovered Kari's family was, for lack of a better term, loaded. With her help and his new father-in-law's funding, Conor started his own company, dedicated to furthering the lives and advancement of the world. Alternative energy, better medicines, Anti-Capture Devices. Conor thought of it all.
