Aight, we all know Dragon Rulers are no longer a thing. Some people will jump for joy, and about .0000000001% of the YGO population will just not care. The point is, what will you guys run at the beginning of next format? I know it's too early to speculate the exact format, but what will you think will top and such in the first regionals? What are some of the key cards and strategies these decks use?

Since Mist Valley is now dead, more than likely my new main decks I'll be using are Gadgets, Traptrix, and my ever infamous Battling' Boxers :3

Geargia, specially once the new support drops. Till then, I might pick up Mermails or Fire Fist and see how I do with it. Also, Constellars became somewhat of a staple deck of mine, although I don't think they'll be succesfull. I'm excited to see how Infernity will do and since I own the deck in Real Life, just as Constellars (and Blackwings, but.. urgh), I will play it one way or another.

I am surprised that no one has said Verz in all or this, I will most likely be using Verz, Fire Fists, Cyber Dragon, Mermails and Lightsworns once I build it.

Verz I honestly think are going to lose a lot of power due to e drags, hopefully, dying. Their biggest source of advantage is against decks that use level 5 or higher monsters. They're a formidable deck nonetheless though.

Verz were pretty crap last format too. If they didnt go first, they lost, even against D Rulers. You guys think with Dragon Rulers gone Infernity could do something big again? When I used them they were simply out-powered and out-sourced, any way to fix that?

infernity now have beelze so yes i think they can make a formidible deck this format

And rulers are still playable so Mythic BEWD rulers

I'll probably be running Bujins competitively. Maybe some new bizarre lightsworns builds. And Hero's for fun and most tournaments. Trying to learn Geargia, if I manage to perfect it I'll be using it quite a lot.

This reminds me, I will also be playing blue eyes mythic dragons. Works great when I was testing it, glad my favourite vanilla has a decent deck around it besides spamming maidens.

I personally run 1 (limited now anyway) copy of all 4 rulers. Tidal and Redox to grab the mythics for XYZ plays. The Blaster and Tempest to grab lv 1 tuners for the synchro plays. Easy lv 8 or 9 Synhro and rank 7 or 8 XYZ makes the deck quite powerful.

Does sound pretty fun to do but I am trying to get more consistency so its not gonna happen.

in Mythic BEWD rulers it is easy to add 3 level 8 monsters that means Montage 7200 + 1 any monster = otk...

Probably same as last format, so chain beat, hunders, and my plant deck of destiny, and Blackwings irl till I finish building one of the first two. I also might play Mythic Rulers, cause I'd say my build is pretty good. Then I'll have a bunch of other decks I sometimes play, since only using a couple decks bores me

Anyone think Fire Kings will be capable of anything? I understand they won the YGOrginization tournament.
