Avatar Changing Glitch

A user notified me that when he changed his avatar, it was giving him strange results and would not allow him to put it up. I tried too, to make sure it was not just him, and mine, too, is not working. Please know that this is a known glitch and we are working to fix it, but until then, I would recommend not changing your avatar.

I found a way to avoid the glitch.
Use the Host An Image option in the Post box, then use the third link and put it in the "Off Site Link" option for avatars

the problem with that is if the image is too big once i had one the size of a desktop because of it

The glitch is believed to be fixed now, but I will be paying close attention to make sure that it is. If you do not want to risk it, I'd refrain from changing it for now. Those who dont mind, and do change it, post here to let me know how it turns out.

theres a limit on the dimensions on the image we use

I know this, but I was trying images within the size limit, and they were not working.

I was considering changing mine to Caius the Shadow Monarch as well haha.
