A while back our beloved ex-member N hosted a tournament which was based on a simple idea: Every participant must use the same deck.
What deck? Well, we are going to build it ourselves. Whaaat?

Rules:
1. The max. number of participants is 8.
2. Every participant has to name 5 main deck cards and 2 extra deck cards, however the last person to sign up, is only allowed to name 1.
3. Every participant must use all of the named cards and ONLY those.
4. Try to pick decent cards. Randomness is fine, just keep away from things that aren't usable at all outside their specific decks. Also, try to avoid picking overpowered cards only.

What really, really bothers me about this, is that you knew this beforehand. It is not like that situation came up spontaneously, it was already present on the date of sign up. Yet, you signed up, knowing that will most likely not be able to duel the majority of other participants. Please, for future tournaments' sakes, don't sig nup, knowing you won't be able to compete.

Did that banana guy ever log on afterwards? >.> He came on for a split second, signed up, and I never saw him again.

I don't know, and I don't care, really. I am not responsible for this shit. I gave you a tournament, and with that, the opportunity of having some fun. If people want to ruin it for themselfes and others, nothing I can do about it.

I'd just say disqualify after a few days that it's apparent that he's not showing activity/effort to take part in the tourny.

Deadline is till tomorrow evening. If he hasn't done his match till then, he'll be out, easy as that.

@ Gallows: Don't lecture me. It would be one thing if I had NEGLECTED my duel. But again, I did try. You may SAY that I knew I wasn't going to be able to duel before hand but that's a lie.

The truth my friend is this; I knew I would not be able to duel AT CERTAIN TIMES! Ergo, I can, and ALWAYS can duel at certain times of the days. At which point, it's a bit of a toss up as per who's to "Blame," because I could argue that my situation should be treated as if I live in the UK.

I'm not going to duel you between the hours of 10am - 2 am Central Standard US Time. By now, that should be pretty clear.

But I forfeited because it IS still an issue with my computer, and to be honest I did NOT expect to go through my data limit this fast this month. It's like what... the 10th of December? Meaning I went through what's supposed to be a months worth of data in a little over a week? Sorry, but I did NOT see that coming. Blame my little sister and her kindle. Or Porn, let you decide that one.

Anyway, not trying to be rude, and not sensing any hostility really from you either. Just thought I'd give it a mention that treating me like I should not participate...ever, just because of a TIMING issue is stupid. Down right stupid. If I could NEVER duel. At ANY point in the day, that would be different. In that case, hell yea I'd be an idiot for signing up. But for a grand total of like, maybe 4 tournament matches IF I make it to the finals. I don't thinks its TOO much to ask my fellow members to grind, grab a cup of coffee and stay up till a lil past midnight once in a blue moon for a tournament, is it?\


Now, if I'm wrong, I suppose forgive me. And again I do understand it's "Difficult" to match my time schedule. But it is by no means impossible, and therefore should be able to be worked around. To admit it cannot be, just means your lazy. Er, ok that was rude. Lining it out now. Correction. It means you and I have two entirely different concepts of fair. Justified by the fact of course each of us is going to lean toward our own side of the argument at least to some degree.


Anyway... yea. Love you guys, and screwball it, maybe i'll just use my Christmas money to buy a Verizon box. XD Then this issue won't even come up. But until that time. My point has been made. Thank you for reading my friend.

Vent, I could not give less of a fuck for your supposed reasons. What I know is that everyone else in this damned freaking tournament spends plenty of time here, at all times of the day, except for the middle of the night. You cannot expect us, or rather the others, to stay awake till 4 am on a week day just to have a duel with you. Knowing that your limit would be up sooner or later, and rather sooner than later, you should have tried to avoid to sign up entirely. I knew I wouldn't be willing to invest the necessary time into the Hunger Games and I would get bored of it easily, so I did not sign up in the first place. You should possibly have done the same here.
I really don't care about anythign else, nor do I need to read anything else.

1: Incorrect. And this will be the second time you've gotten it so. To educate you. I ranted about doing what I want, how I want, when I want. If that includes, or excludes explaining myself. Is entirely up to me, which, is the point all together. So no, I did not say I wanted to avoid explanations all together, only at that time, on that particular subject. So yea, anyway.

I stand behind my reasoning that again, basically please treat me as if I live in the UK, and have the hours of such. If you decide in the future that time schedule does not work out for your hosted events. Inform me of such and I won't join. Something you neglected to do this time round. Ergo you gave up your right to bitch about it. I'm sure there are others whom are more understanding and would enjoy a duel with me at the aforementioned hours.

But yea, that sums it up I think agreed? Basically; It sucks I can't be online more. Er, well, on DN. I can be here all I want. I agree with that. You guys should at least somewhat try to be a bit more understanding about that, and in turn I should also respect the fact that my schedule it part of the minority, not the majority. No complaints, I can do that. Again, that's more or less the reason I gave up. And beyond that there's no reason really to keep arguing about this. If you decide to. I agree 100% with your terms.
