"Sorento. I'm Victoria," she replied with little enthusiasm.

"Maybe just don't play so loudly?" She requested.

Sorento was now playing quietly. Sorento crossed over a small crystal clear stream. As he made his way, he comes to a regular green dense forest along the outskirts of the rather large cherry blossoms forest.

He stops playing his flute. And lowers it to his side, holding it again like a sword. He looks back at Victoria "That stream had fresh water.. I'm thinking it runs to the waterfalls at the gorge. I suggest that you go fetch a drink before continue."

"I'm all right for now. Where do ya think the stream starts from though? Maybe there's a lake or something further ahead," Victoria replied, "Or a mountain with a waterfall."

"Hard to say where it is coming from..." He said.

He then took his flute and swung it like a sword. And as if it really were a sword, it cut clean through the vegetation.

"But if you're ready," he continued, " let's go." He said as he walked into the forest cutting a path With his flute.

"Hell of a flute you got, what's it made of, unicorn horn?" she asked sarcastically as she followed the strange young man.

"Orichalcum?" She stopped walking for a moment, "What the blazes is that?"

Sorento stops and looks back.

"Orichalcum." He responded astonishingly.

"The legendary Atlantean, metal. From the myths." He said.

"All right, so you're saying that you got that flute from a mineral that doesn't exist from a city that doesn't exist. Seems legit," she laughed and walked ahead of him, "If nothing else, you're good for a laugh Sorento."

"I'm not asking you to believe me," he said, " I'm only telling you the truth."

He jogs up to her. Holding out his flute, gesturing her to take it.

"If you won't believe me by what I say, then take it, and break it. Orichalcum is virtually indestructible, I promise you, my flute will not break, it won't even have a dent, not even a scratch." He said. His his soft lavender hair blowing in a gentle breeze that rustled the leaves of the small forest. His magnet eyes looking almost pleadingly.

Victoria stared at the flute, then looked up to Sorento. His eyes seem to beg her to fulfill his request. With a sigh, she took the flute and attempted to snap it in half. The flute did not twist nor bend. Again she tried, her wrist hurting from the attempts.

"All right you win, its tough," she handed it back, "Doesn't mean what you say is true."

She continued to walk with him, not entirely able to keep her eyes from looking at him every so often, "Strange we haven't run into anyone yet. We've been walking for a long while."

Victoria nodded, "Right, what's that up ahead?" She pointed to an area up ahead that looked like a run down facility of some kind.

"Shelter at the very least, let's go check it out," her accent as thick as ever.

Victoria took Sorento's hand and ran ahead, dragging the poor fellow behind her.
