Red-Eyes Inferno deck Empty
PostSubject: Red-Eyes Inferno deck   Red-Eyes Inferno deck EmptyFri Nov 01, 2013 10:09 pm

So I finished any edits I needed to make on the Blue-Eyes deck I made a few days ago (The one I posted originally got edited so much to the point that it became a chaos dragon deck by accident, so now I have that + a real blue-eyes deck). I started to think that the new support cards from the Blue-Eyes structure deck could work well if they downgraded it to Red-Eyes too. So here we go, attempt 1 at a Red-Eyes deck:

Red-Eyes Inferno deck GMb4uWL

Red eyes darkness metal dragon: 1
Dark armed dragon: 1
Red eyes darkness dragon: 1
Red eyes black dragon: 3
Red eyes wyvern: 3
Eclipse wyvern: 2
Red eyes black chick: 3
Masked dragon: 3

Dark hole: 1
Allure of darkness: 1
A wingbeat of giant dragon: 1
Sacred sword of seven stars: 2
Inferno fire blast: 3
Dragon shrine: 3
Ancient rules: 2
Silver's cry: 2
Summoner's art: 3

Eradicator epidemic virus: 1
Castle of dragons souls: 2
Deck devastation virus: 1
Dragoncarnation: 1

It's FAR from good. I've only gotten chance to test it like 4 duels and every duel the other person either dc'd or I lost horribly. I thought the good number of drawing/thinning cards would help get out red-eyes either and set up good plays with both wyverns. Any suggestions? It needs a lot of work :s

Deck has been updated. Original build did absolutely nothing significant. So many inconsistencies between the allure/sacred sword banishing a red-eyes with no ways to get back the red-eyes besides that shitty dragoncarnation. It's actually done well for itself for the time being. Not like it was much of a challenge in the first place, but it did exceptionally well against a chain burn deck I faced.

Right now here's what I got:

I would get rid of the second Dragons Mirror for another Royal Decree

I added a 2nd royal decree but I took out an inferno fire blast for it. Running three of them seems way too cluttered and can be dead draws sadly. I'm back and forth with a strategy that Hero suggested for my blue eyes deck: skill drain. This deck could work around it even better than my blue eyes one could. Red eyes has no effect, red eyes black chick, cardcar D, red eyes wyvern, and dread dragon all work in the grave, etc. Would work out pretty well but i'm not sure if I want complete trap lock or effect lock. It's hard to debate because royal decree, despite the lack of backrow in this format, helps a lot.
