It's time I ended the reign of E drags, evilswarm, and spellbook decks by my own means. From now on, Science Soldier will be the new meta of dueling network! That's right, this deck was made based around Science Soldier and his vanilla wrath. With a whopping 800 attack AND defense, it's tough to compete with such a merciless card. I mean, look at that gun he's holding. I wouldn't want to run into this guy in a dark alley. Nonetheless, this is the deck that will rule over DN with an iron fist: So let's break down the components of our masterpiece: Monsters (18): Science soldier (3): Our main boss of the deck. I mean, the description even says "state-of-the-art weaponry" so you know it has to have something powerful up it's sleeve. Battle warrior (3): This bad boy is our backup for science soldier. He may not have a gun, he may only use his fists, he may be blue, and his attack may be 700, but his defense is 1000. If someone here is taking a bullet, it's him. Dark armed dragon (1): That celtic guardian kill all three of your science soldiers? Not a problem, summon out this monstrosity and avenge your fallen ones. Rescue rabbit (1): Two science soldiers for the price of one bunny? Yes please Dandylion (1): It's got the word "fluff" in the description so it has to be good! Orichalcos Shunoros (1): Gotta represent the academy. Plus, if one of my science soldiers dies to a mass swarm, that swarm better think twice before picking a fight with this thing. Gadget soldier (1): Science soldier warped through time 20 years to a point where he's buff and his armor got a serious upgrade. Look at those rockets. Probably enough to blow up half a town if aimed right. It's like they used polymerization with science soldier + yellow gadget o.O Comrade swordsman of landstar (1): 400 point boost for my science soldiers. With that attack power he's strong enough to take on silver fang. Pretty big deal if you ask me. Emissary of the afterlife (3): Easy way to search out my science soldier. My opponent will run when he sees that search. Marauding captain (2): Bring out Mr. Swordsman here and get yourself a free science soldier to the field. What could possibly go wrong with that? Destiny hero - doom lord (1): Maestroke? Lol k Spells (19): Allure of darkness (1): Drawing out those science soldiers! Book of moon (1): Think your malefic rainbow dragon is so tough? Not when I use this. Dark hole (1): Incase they get serious and bring out battle ox. Mind control (1): Brainwash, just like America. Reinforcement of the army (1): Searching that science soldier all day every day. The seal of orichalcos (1): Our signature card, plus an extra 500 onto my science soldier. That celtic guardian better watch out, i'm almost there! Faustian bargain (2): Goodbye zenmaines, hello science soldier! Silent doom (2): That baby dragon just rip apart your science soldier? Let's see him do it again. The warrior returning alive (2): Run out of silent dooms? Toss that science soldier back to your hand! Buster rancher (2): You know what they say about a big soldier with a big gun ^^ (usually big socks, idk.) Mystical space typhoon (3): Incase my opponent tries any slick moves like an insect barrier. Jokes on him though, I don't have any insects! Dark world dealings (2): Haven't found that science soldier yet? Here's your chance! Traps (3): Tyrant's throes (1): Tribute two science soldiers and shut down 95% of the decks in this game. Better hope they drew a giant soldier of stone. Royal decree (2): Don't even think about trying trap hole on me. Besides, science soldier is 800 attack, silly goose. As you can see I have a pretty good lineup. I mean, if Yugi could throw together a bunch of random cards that had maybe 5% consistency and manage to use the heart of the cards to give him the dark magician just when he needed it, I think i'll take his advice and try that. Meta, here I come. If you don't have faith in my science soldiers, let me show you their fury: Take that, e heros. Over time I think people have lost touch with decks that actually represent them and have lost their heart of the cards. Back in the days when vanilla cards were common, everyone had heart of the cards. Today, evil(swarm) has infected a good amount of players and is an ever growing problem. Together, we must bring the heart of the cards back and face down this evil in the name of ODA!

| I agree. With the action lately I pulled of against Panzerkiller, taking his HAzy Flames out with my Kaiba Deck [Screenshot is here], I reckon we should all do these actions. And all create such Decks, that represent ourselves.
Here's one of mine, while we're at it.
Water Girl Xyz, aka, Wet Girls. This Deck as shown to be really handy, and really useful. It went up against modern day Meta Decks, and actually at times, beat them. DW lost to this 2-0. I managed to beat Evilswarm 2-1.
This deck is as cute as it is dangerous. With access to not only Rank 4, but also rank 6 Xyz, it has a variety that you'll only see in Constellar. Unfortunately, it's not as fast and consistent.
Monsters:
- Spoiler:
[3x] Red Archery Girl [3x] Water Girl [3x] Water Omotics [2x] Aqua Spirit [1x] Familliar-Possessed Eria [2x] Kagetokage [2x] Maxx "C" [1x] Rescue Rabbit [2x] Tin Goldfish [1x] Tour Bus from the Underworld [2x] Tour Guide from the Underworld
Spells:
- Spoiler:
[1x] Aqua Jet [2x] Forbidden Lance [2x] Lemuria, the Forgotten City [2x] Mystical Space Typhoon [1x] Terraforming
Traps:
- Spoiler:
[2x] Common Charity [1x] Compulsory Evacuation Device [1x] Dimensional Prison [2x] Fiendish Chain [1x] Mirror Force [1x] Solemn Warning [1x] Spiritual Water Art - Aoi [1x] Starlight Road
Extra Deck:
- Spoiler:
[1x] Stardust Dragon [1x] Abyss Dweller [1x] Constellar Ptolemy M7 [1x] Evilswarm Ouroboros [1x] Gagaga Cowboy [1x] Gauntlet Launcher [1x] King of the Feral Imps [1x] Lavalval Chain [1x] Leviair the Sea Dragon [1x] Maestroke the Symphony Djinn [1x] Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack [1x] Mermail Abyssgaios [1x] Number 50: Blackship of Corn [1x] Photon Strike Bounzer [1x] Wind-Up Zenmaines
So, yeah. This is my version of the "resistance Deck", as you could call these.[/color] |

I have seriously wanted soldier revolt to come out since I first saw the episode of it all that time ago. I'm hoping in the new legendary collection (part 2 of the orichalcos series) they release it. They've already promised harpie lady phoenix formation so fingers crossed lol. Maybe they'll be a chance of the air fortress or gorlag :0

Honestly the only expensive things about the deck are the royal decrees, dark world dealings, and the mind control. Aside from that you could probably get the rest of the cards in the deck easily if you buy structure deck versions of most of the cards like Dark Armed Dragon. If you add it up it'll most likely come to roughly $10-$15 assuming you have some of your own staples like MST, dark hole, book of moon, etc (That total is excluding the three expensive cards I listed earlier so if you want to save money and use your own feel free to).

Royal Decree is expensive? I have like, 5 or 6 flying around here, although in common. Honestly, I think you can get all the cards, even the "expensive" ones pretty easily. The most expensive part is usually the extra deck, but even there, no card should exceed the 5-6 bucks, at least here in Europe.

Hell, the extra deck you hardly even need much of. I just threw in a bunch of rank 3s for options but really a few zenmaines, a number 17, acid golem, and some other minor ones are all you need. Even for some cheaper alternatives to some of the cards, in that side deck of random ideas I have I considered putting the science soldiers/battle warriors in my deck to use with advanced ritual art summoning hungry burger. Throw in 3 preparations of rites, 2-3 hungry burgers, and 2 advanced ritual art and you've got yourself a fast food soldier deck, lol.

Depends on what deck, simply. Infernitys and Blackwings which I recently build wasn't exactly too cheap either. So, yeah. In this case it is bunch of relativly cheap cards, although Science Warrior might be a bit tough to get, so not sure on his price, actually.

Science soldier is roughly 50 cents lol. I have 3 in real life I've been holding on to them for the longest time. Sadly though it's not a matter for me of finding cheap decks, but more so finding people to even duel. I have no local or regional tournaments anywhere near where I live. The closest thing to it is some comic store that sells yugioh cards but only holds tournaments every week for magic the gathering. It sucks This is why I have to resort to dueling network for my own dueling purposes. It's sad but I still have a deck irl that I made on DN but since there's nobody to duel it's more so just a sitting trophy on my desk ;-; 3

There's plenty of places that sell them but I mostly buy them offline. I find it a lot cheaper that way. TCGplayer is usually where I order them from. They've got lots of sellers and a selection of pretty much any card you could ask for. It's great and cheap way to get cards if you ask me

Internet is a thing you know. I basically oder all of my cards, simply because it is both cheaper and you are certain to find all you need.

Lol sorry :c I'd watch it its honestly the best series yugioh ever made. There's just something about it when I was watching it that made it seem not so friendshipish like the real cheesy episodes of yugioh and more like an action/drama series. It's hard to describe but that's just what I think lol.

I don't blame you. I stopped after waking the dragons because it got really weird. GX I couldn't stand to watch because it was overly obnoxious and I've never watched 5D's or zexal either. I did watch the last couple of episodes of the original yugioh series though. It was so worth it.

Best Yu-Gi-Oh! Arcs: Battle City and Virtual World. Nothing that came after or came before can even slightly reach it. The Orichalcos-Arc was decent and the ancient Egypt one was just bad, all the way. GX started off with some interesting ideas and ultimately died to its obnoxious characters. Watched 1 or 2 episodes of 5Ds which sucked terribly and another 1 or 2 of Zexal which were even worse.

I'll admit I loved the virtual world arc. At first I was like "Oh great another sub plot to get in the way of the battle city tournament" but I really like it overall. The deck master style would be an interesting way to duel if they all had pretty reasonable effects. I gotta throw my towel to waking the dragons though. I just completely loved it. Wasn't too obnoxious, wasn't too dry, was just overall very well done in my opinion. They made it like almost a survival type of series where people one by one kept losing their souls. Kinda reminds me of The Walking Dead if anyone is familiar, lol.
