(NOTICE: Don't take this SL too seriously, but you could consider it similar to a filler in an anime, just a lil something I thought up to get us ready for the up coming stories that I still need to brain storm lol, but either way have fun! ^.^)



The answers came easily to him, as he flew through the test. It was not at all uncommon to see Kyle flipping page after page on these rather extensive exams whilst his fellow class mates sat holding their heads in rage or confusion. With one final scratch of his pencil, Ky was finished, and closed the exams back to the front page and simply pushed it to the side of his desk. He would turn it in at the end of class, and there was no need to double check his answers. For the remainder of the class period Ky just sat waiting for the bell to ring, and day dreaming a bit. It was summer now, and the class seemed rather empty as few student chose to take the fast paced summer classed. Most had gone home, something Ky didn't have. However he enjoyed the academy and felt no remorse in having to stay for the "Holiday Season". Instead, he was currently wondering something to do besides school work and exercise, which seemed to consume his days as of late.

"RING-G-G-G!"

The sound of the bell! Kyle grabbed his paper and calmly walked to the front of the class and placed his work upon the Teacher's desk with a smile. He waved, and with that left the room. The halls where full, with people switching classrooms and such but his school day was over. "Hmmm," Kyle thought to himself, "Yea, the beach sounds nice!" He smiled and walked to a billboard type object located somewhere in the middle of the school, here events, sport meets, and other such activities where posted often times in scripting. They had tools placed there for students who didn't know the magic, but most found it easier to make your own scripts.

"Hey AMA students! Kyle here, just wanted to invite you to a get together this weekend. Tomorrow Friday an all, and with the weather being so hot I thought the beach sounded nice, and one who is interested text me. Here's the number, you can also send me a Scprit-o-Gram if you have such means. To do that just use the link given along with this script, oh and my number is (903-000-1234) See you soon!"

Worst case, maybe 1 or two people would show up but he didn't mind much. A big party would be cool but a few friends and some swimming and fishing sounds just as nice. He smiled, happy with his note and took off down the hallway. Now to find something to do with the rest of his day. Perhaps he'd bump into someone! If not, he'd likely head out to the Coliseum or the Park, one or the other.

"Well, this was easy." Marcurio thought as he turned in the test. It was exam period at the Academy, and even though had turned 19, and looked even older, he was still a freshman, and therefore had to participate in the respective lessons and tests, which weren't especially hard for someone who had been trained by one of this era's great wizards in his youth. Even though it has been a few months since Marcurio joined the Acade and his life changed drastically, his personality was left mostly untouched by it. He was still very reserved and distanced, just as he didn't get used to the permanent proximity to ther other students. He had a few people he somewaht liked, but he wouldn't call them friends by any means. 


As the young man passed through the old hallways of the academy's main building his mind circulated around his work-out plan for today. His magic did not only require psychological but also physical strenght. Luckily, the academy had everything in the gym, located beneath the Colosseum. "Maybe I'll go to the beach again." his thoughts derivated from the work-out to whatever he would do afterwards. Whilst many students passed the last weeks studying for their final exams, Marcurio would often head to the mostly empty beach. That tranquility would probably end soon, now that exams had ended. "Probably my last, calm day at the beach." A sad thought, as he realized. The warm, sandy shore of the island had somewhat become a refuge for him. Swimming, fishing or just laying in the sun reading through books in asbolute peace, distant from all other students, had probably been his most fullfilling activity. "One last time!" Little did he know that in the meantime, there was someone making a big announcement regarding the beach. An announcement that would certainly not please him. 

"There it is." Marcurio had arrived in front of the majestic old-fashioned arena. "Lets get to it!"

Ami-Ra was staring down at her exam. It was closed, turned over onto it's front as she just kept staring at it. She was done with it, answers all correct, she knew that for sure. Her eyes wandered around the room trying to keep herself occupied while the others were taking their time. Boredom sat in. Hunching over and using her hands to prop her head up she stared at the clock as she started to daydream.

Nothing really took place, just ideas of what to do since exams were over. She could go shopping, hang out with her twin sister or better yet, hit the beach. Although she had a bit of a natural tan, she still wanted to get some color on her skin to bronze up a bit. She was worried that people would stare at her ugly scar that started from her clavicle down to her pelvis. Giving up a lung at a young age left her with that horrible scar. But, it was for her sister. She'd do anything for her sister. Anything.

The bell snapped her back to reality as she stood up and turned in her exam. She smiled and said good bye to her teacher and headed out the door. She was done and she was free. Ami-Ra passed the bulletin board and stopped. Something had caught her eye.  She read the things  then noticed the one from Kyle. She remembered him. Memories of herself walking next to him caused her face to burn with a blush. Still, all these months and she still had that schoolgirl crush on him. How cute. She typed the number into her phone and sent him a message.

Hey, this is Ami-Ra. I don't know if you remember me but I did see your announcement. The beach sounds wonderful! I was actually thinking of going anyhow. I can't wait to see you there! <3

Message Sent.

Wait! Did she just send a heart to him? Her eyes widen to the fact she let that crush get the best of her and she sent that blasted less than three symbol to him. She only hoped he took it the right way. That way being, the playful way. He had to of found a girlfriend during these months, right? Part of her hoped he hadn't. She wanted a shot, but she was afraid he wouldn't like her.

What was done, was done and nothing she could do about it. Instead of fretting over it, Ami-Ra headed out of the building and to the park. The very same park that she had met Kyle. She wanted the fresh air plus the time to think to herself. She really hoped that Kyle would message her back.

Sair had quite the year here at the AMA. He has been mastering his skills, both in his magical arsenal and in stealth. Still an uncaught thief, mostly of any small object, he managed to blaze through tests with the faster writers by cheating with his powers, peeking with sharp eyes at the back of the room where he sat. He managed to understand most of the answers, and fixed what he could find wrong. He knew he wouldn't achieve 100%, but as long as he made it passing. The test sat by his desk with a chunk of time still around to think.

He thought of his year as he fiddled with a tiny idol or figure that seemed like a puzzle more than a statue or person. He picked it off a strange man that came for a special visit to the AMA. Again, quite a year. He made a few friends, including the bush guy and Ami. Almost no one knew he was a pick-pocket or thief. He met with Henry Bokkle a few times again too. Slippery little man, but he had some interesting topics that keep getting interrupted by his job calling for him. He had decided to participate in a Card club of some sort that learned to use cards as weapons, as well as use them regularly very effectively in gambling and regular games. Here, he met another wind-user, a girl with light-green hair. He saw her every once in a while, but could never get her nam-- RING-G-G-G-G!

Time to get away from AMA and out to the open world! Summer is here for a while, finally! He brushed past as everyone else had turned in the test, purposely knocking over the stack of tests in a hurry. "Sorry, my bad, but I really need to find someone!" He found it humorous to do this at least once to each of his teachers some tine in the year. What he said as bout finding someone was true, but sadly, he could not find her this time today... At the board though, he checked regularly for anything of interest, such as large parties he could pick-pocket at, or fun events, such as the Beach invite from Ky he just found. Best way to kick off the summer: Beaches and/or surfing. He never learned how to, but he was up for it. He texted him up:

Soybean or Soy has always been one of his online or social names as So-yo-ka-ze seems like Soy when just looking at the start. He sent it and headed to his dorm to grab his wallet (And a few others too) to buy something he really could use at the beach: Swim trunks/shorts.

A familiar voice dragged Marcurio out of his thoughts and exercise. He looked up and was confronted with a waving young man Marcurio met at the his very first day here. Kyle, AMA's star student.

"Marcurio, right." He made a slight pause and looked up. "A spar, eh?" His lips formed a smile whilst his eyes inspected his opposite unobstrusivly. Kyle was a tiny bit taller than himself, yet he was not even half as large. His thin physique and long blond hair even gave him somewhat of a feminine appearance, nevertheless he should not be underestimated, as his skills in the field of alchemy where said to be unmatched amongst students. Some of the other presents youngsters had interupted their exercise, in silent anticipation for Marcurio's answer."Lets do it, Kyle." he finally broke the heavy silence that spread around them, already turning away from his soon-to-be opponent heading towards the sparring field.

The colour magician positioned himself on the left side of the sparring field, facing to the center, eyes closed. A deep breath. "Ready."

His smile said it all. And Kyle returned the gesture with a grin of his own right back at the man. It was eerie, sick perhaps would be the best word to describe it. Now, many student at AMA enjoyed sparring, it was a safe way of practicing one's combat skills. In today's world, such things were often over looked, as there had been no Great Wizard War in ages, but never the less many still practiced just in case. However, Ky's smile was not friendly, or playful. It was more like... A predator. Smiling, because he was upon his prey.

It had nothing to do with Marcurio, and the fact was Ky chose him to do battle with out of everyone, because he felt he was the only one who could face him in his current state and walk away alive. Something about the man just hinted he had great strength. Regardless, Marcurio seemed not to notice, and had made his first mistake. While his opponent walked to the other end of the arena, Kyle stopped some distance away and crouched. With his index finger, he began to draw in the dirt, quickly carving out lettering that was unreadable to most. Some long forgotten ancient text he'd learned while researching in the library. It made his Script magic no less powerful though. By the time Marcurio had turned to face him, Kyle was standing again.

He nodded to his friend, and carefully stepped over the text, as not to disturb it. He knew not whether Marcurio could read it or not, but it read as follows. "Whom So Ever Step Into This Scrip Shall Not Be Able To Cross It Again. Unless Their Name Is Kyle." Meaning if Marcurio stepped into his trap, he'd be stuck, and wide open. The weakness with script magic however, is it's generally only as well defended as what it's written on, meaning the text could easily be destroyed by disturbing the dirt on which it's written. Kyle gave Marcurio no time to think of such things. His arms flew back, and he darted forward with the intensity of a seasoned track runner.

He was upon him in a matter of seconds, his guard raised to protect both his ribs, and his face. His front foot planted, and he spun on the ball of his foot, bringing a round house kick towards his opponents ribs. But it was merely a feint. Before snapping forward, the action would pause but only a moment, allowing Kyle to balance on his now trailing leg, and push the front raise foot forwards and down. Aiming instead for Marucio's leading shin.

Just a single moment after opening his eyes, Kyle was already rusihing at him at enormous speed. Fractions of a second later his leg flung up in direction of Marcurio's ribs, pausing in air for an even shorter amount of time, yet it was enough. "A feint!" A single thought that snapped through his mind. His legs racted and leaped him into the air, just barely above the leg that passed right below his feet. He landed on the ball of his right foot, immediatly spinning around, turning his back to his opponent, whilst raising his left leg for a huge kick with the back of his foot, aiming at Kyle's head.
