Droite stepped onto the soft, thick, plush grass.

And examined the area, she looked around and saw William running towards a mountainous area.  He appeared to he be in quite a hurry.

"Hmm?" She hummed to herself.

As I stepped off the boat still not followed by my kid brother I looked at Droite because she reminded me of Mai Valentine from the way she looked at William but I ignored any further delays and started heading for the forest with my sling bag and pocket knife which I slipped through inspection

Jimmy runs into the field to runaway from the noise in the graveyard. He runs for about 500 metars in the field and then faints out of exhaustion.

He'd heard something. Something that had set off a primal instinct in the man. Like prey running for it's life. Scared. Helpless. This was the perfect time to strike and Kai would waste no time in earning his first chip. Yes, until now he'd been content hiding in the shadows, but he wanted to taste action. To be on the front lines and thin the heard if you will.

He came into the field, a lush green landscape with a gentle breeze that blew endlessly across a vast green sea. Here lay a downed young man, with 2 chips in his gauntlet. Kai smiled, and reach down to help the boy up, hoping he'd take notice of the gesture.

"Here you go my friend, take my hand, no need to be lying face first in the dirt after all." He faked friendship, courtesy, all in turn to earn the boys trust, and weaken his guard. "What say we have a duel, just one star chip wager so neither of us is out if we lose. But to get to know each other, what do ya say?"

Jimmy feels dizzy and gets up while trying to stand correctly. He thinks about what happened to him but he couldn't remember. He responds to the nice man that helped him.

"Hello there. Thanks a lot for helping me up. My name is Jimmy Wheeler. My bro was really popular in his days. He came in second in this tournament. But now when my brother left for new adventures only thing I still have is a card of his that is my favorite. Sorry for talking to much, you were saying something about a challenge. Well Of course thats why we are here. Lets find a duel arena so we can duel."

Kai smiled, it was a simple action. But things aren't always as they seem. He checked his suit, making sure it was presented well, and nodded to the young man. "Kaishi, Kaishi Senshi. It's a pleasure Jimmy, just lead the way."

Kai laughs, as fate would have it teach him humility today. The prey seemed to have the perfect defense against this top predator. "Well that was a horrid match up in my case, but great deck my friend. Jimmy wasn't it?" Kai walks over to the man, holding out a star chip, and his hand as a greeting along with it, hoping the boy would accept both.

Jimmy is exhausted from the duel and gets of the arena while saying "If you would be so kind to give me a star chip it would be nice." He sits on the grass and takes a bottle of water from his bag to drink.
Jimmy drinks few swallows of water and then asks this "If you want we can form an alliance. We both have strong decks with amazing strategies. We should keep an eye for each other." Jimmy gets up and takes the chip from the nice guy.

Kai smiles, and considers the idea of forming an alliance. Here, in a grassy field out of site from all others he decides that now it the time.

"I wasn't joking when I told you I hold the Millennium Scales." Kai's smirk got bigger, and he forcefully grabbed the youths hand, giving it a strong, solid shake as he placed the chip in the free hand. "Lets see what they have to say about your offer, shall we?"

With his free hand Kai reached inside his coat, and detaches the set of scales from a metal sling around his shoulder. The golden object emanates a glorious light as it comes in contact with the early morning sun, and the two duelist each can hear a mysterious tune echoing through their minds.

"Hold still now, if you allow fear, anger, or anything else cloud your mind, my scales will send your soul to the Shadow Realm. Also, if you have plans on betraying your offered alliance they will like wise send you there as well." Kai smiled, either way it was a winning situation for him. He either got 3 more star chips after the boy was sent off to his doom, or formed an alliance with a deck that would compliment him rather well.

His right hand held the boys own tight in its grasp, Kai was not only older, and more mature, but surprisingly strong for his rather slim appearance. His left hand held the scales, slowly bringing it to Jimmy's chest, and a golden eye appeared upon Kai's forehead.

"Let the judgment...begin..."

Jimmy is so scared that he can't move at all. He can't even blink. He is trying to run away but his body just wont move. Then he says:
 "Holly shit. Dude you have an eye gold thingy on your forehead. What on earth is that. When i said i want an alliance i meant that we help each other from time to time, not that if i don't obey some giant ugly eye thingy swallows me. It was just a friendship proposal"
Jimmy succeeds to get away from Kai and runs of in the direction of the graveyard with a strange pain in his chest.

The boy fights, struggleing to get away after a moment of being paralyzed by fear. A smart reaction. Fear keeps us safe. It is what drives up the blood, releases addrenhaline and reminds us not to cower and give up. But rather it reminds us to try our hardest, because one mistake could cost everything.

However, the fear in Jimmy's heart causes the scales to tip in favor of evil. His doubts, his change of heart towards Kai means he begins to reconsider his proposal of friendship. All things that tip the scales towards a side you don't want to be on.

But they scales weigh everything. Deeper within Jimmy's heart. His true motives shine through. He is loyal, honest, and caring. His alliance was an honest one, and he really did seem to value Kai as an equally talented duelist. The scales line back up, and tip now in favor of good. Finally, the eyes in Kai's forehead glows brighter, and the boy notices it instead of the scales, which are now leaning towards honesty and truth.

he pulls away and runs off, his soul safe having been judged by the light of an ancient item.

"So he was trustworthy after all." Kai says to himself.

The shock of having been through that would have been enough to scare any normal person, and Kai does not blame his new friend for retreating. However, Kai had planned on returning to the grave yard anyway. He places the scales back on their holster, and buttons up his jacket once more. Heading off towards the grave yard, taking the same path as Jimmy, but not appearing to chase him.

Once he meet up with the boy, he will explain things, the Eye of Truth having faded from his fore head he appears to be normal once again. He will accept the alliance, should Jimmy still be offering it.

"I hope I didn't scare him to badly. I wonder what you say to someone who's soul you just examined.... never really thought about it before."

Kai didn't mean to seem cold, or vicious, he just didn't trust people that's all, and he hoped his new pal would understand.

After slowly arriving to the field. Don took a good look around the area. He didnt particularly see anyone or anything around. But he doubted no one had arrived here since he was so late on getting there. Don decides to take a break and sleep for a bit on the floor. 
Thinking to himself before he passed out "Strategy is for wimps ill make stuff up as I go!"

Jimmy had escaped, but Kai had a feeling he would bump into him again. He had planed on following him to the grave yard, be he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Stylish, fancy clothes, and a confident stride. It was none other than William! The man he'd come to know fairly well on the boat.

"Ah, hello William, I thought we might cross paths again."

Kai's eyes narrowed. The Scale had chosen him for a reason. The two made quite a pair, as even without it Kai's deductive skills were far above the average man. William seemed odd. He presented himself well, as if it was just a normal hello. But there was blood all over him. HIs eyes seemed twisted, and bloodshot.

"A rather pleasant scene out here, isn't it?"

Kai's question was two pronged. It was a simple gesture, nothing strange about it. Other than the fact he let his voice trail, and he turned his body more towards William, wiping the smile form his face and reading into the man's body language. Something was off.... but what was it?

Jimmy walks out of the forest looking for new victims and possible friends. Then sees Kai and a kid with Nice clothes but drenched in blood. He decided to approach them even though he was really scared.
He says to the new duelist."Hello there. My name is Jimmy Wheeler. Its a pleasure to meet you. And Kai, The offer for an alliance still stands but please, no more freaky forehead eye busyness ok?"

Kai smiled as well. Although, the tension between the two of them was rising. Outsiders might see this as a simple chat, but something much larger was boiling beneath the surface.

Kai responded to William's gesture towards his gauntlet by holding up his own. "I'm still at two, taking my time I suppose you could say."

There was a jingle from Kai's side, as the Millennium Scale began to react to the man's evil presence. That would settle it, something was very wrong with this picture.

"Enough with the games. Just who are you and what do you want."

He smiled, in response to William's own, mocking him.

Jimmy feels like a 5th wheel here. He says good bye and heads to the mountain.

Kai didn't flinch. He held his ground resolute, and glared back at the possessed young man. After the demand to hand over his Scale, Kai quickly unbuttoned his jacket and detached the item from its holster. Thrusting it forward with great force, the Eye of Truth appeared upon his head again, and the scales began to tip in favor of evil, only a hair's breath away from touching the bottom.

"You mean this," he cried out with force. "The Scales belong to me, and would never forfeit themselves to you."

Kai's grinned menacingly, his rage now getting the best of him.

"But if your so eager to lose what's left of your soul, I'm quite adept in the art of Shadow Games."

Jimmy gets of the mountain and sees a weird shadow circle in front of him. He sits down and watches.

So I hear I have got a challenge? (Raises a starchip) Let's go.
