An explosive area filled with many surprises. This area is close to both the jungle and the mountain.

LastHope steps lightly and calmly into the small clearing at the top of the volcano, right next to a pool of magma, never quite still yet moving too slowly for most people to notice. LastHope, however, followed every waver and flow of the magma, sensing its churning and bubbling beneath the surface.

Now bearing the guise of Elda, a blonde girl with mechanical cat ears and a short white dress, the strange being strutted to the edge of the clearing, feeling the blazing heat from the pool literally singing its clothes yet not registering a feeling of dangerous enough temperatures to actually back off. Everything it did seemed methodical; it watched the magma with a detached interest, ignored the possibility of damage from heat, and even the subsequent cocky grin coming to the host body's face seemed half-hearted and tedious.

I register the host complaining. Amusingly, she seems disinterested in returning home and far more interested in heading to the forest to find enemy Duelists. Analysis determines that is an ineffective decision and will be held in utmost negativity. The most fruitful option is to wait where nobody will search until most everyone is dead, and then pick off the injured and tired scraps while they can no longer focus on Dueling.

The magma began to bubble, catching the being's eye yet again. Without another second's warning, it bubbled over and shot a jet straight at LastHope's delicate host body, Elda.

Unveiling a much more enthusiastic and sinister grin, the host girl's bangs were repelled from its face as a glowing, green, encircled pentagram appeared on her forehead. The same symbol appeared at its feet, faintly lighting up her whole body, as a translucent barrier appeared in front of the host, causing the magma to stop almost as if it were being pulled from the opposite direction like a magnet, splashing briefly against the field before flying backwards and splashing back into the pool.

Its hair fell back over its face as the barrier disappeared, and the host turned diligently from the magma to watch over the surrounding area.

And now... I wait.

"Im...hoping this thing isn't active."
"I gotta find halberd though so I guess I have no choice but to go in."

Hope glanced warily over at the direction TheCoolest was coming from, sighing. "Seems I've been discovered..." It mumbled, trying to stay somewhat obscured by the heat waves and sulfur plooms. "I've got a bad feeling about this one..." It forced its host girl's body into a frown, as she was trying to force a smile at a hopeful opponent.

Analyzing the situation, LastHope steps forward cautiously, giving a deceiving friendly smile. "H-hey... Um... Nice to meet you too..." It controls the host body to look away, acting shy. "I haven't seen your card... If you don't force me into a Duel, I'd be glad to help you look for it..."

"Erm..." LastHope tiptoed from side to side. "I actually would prefer not to move from here... Too many people everywhere else..." It grinned sheepishly. "Well, I'll keep looking around here, and when you come back to knock me out of the tournament, I'll tell you if I found it~"

After some difficulty of trying to get out of the volcano, TheCoolest runs over to the beach to check up on his friends.

"I feel.." Says Rose Asmodeus, as he witnesses a girl in blonde hair speaking to another of similar height in surprisingly cyan hair."Perhaps it's time for me to join the fray.."

He sit's up from his molten hot rock, strangely man made an extremely comfortable, regardless of it's extreme temperature. He wore clothing primarily reflecting the color red, black and red boots, black slacks, a scarlet cut-out shirt which showed off his arms, all that blended in with the surroundings of the volcano, along with his scarlet red long hair.

Underneath his left eye, Rose had a scar from an intentional burn in the shape of an R, which seemed to stand out the most in sunlight. Surprisingly, to counter his red appearance, he had deep blue eyes that resembled the Favorited color of King Obelisk.

Rose's strategy was simple: Wait until the majority of competition was knocked out, then move in to eliminate the rest of the competition. However, this didn't seem like it'd work, it seems that none was interested in dueling and that everyone wanted to start alliances with one another. He decided to take the strategic offense, and pick down the competition one by one. "Starting with this blonde girl.." He said quietly to himself.

Roses Duel disk was firmly attached to his left arm, and his deck was already in position. On his way towards the girl, he notices a card on the ground. "One of mine?" he thought, as he reached for it. Picking it up, he notices it's a lvl 12 synchro monster. "T.G. Halbred Cannon..hm..never heard of that archetype.." He said as he put the card in his back pocket. "Could be useful."

He makes his way behind the girl in blonde. "Why, hello there miss."

"Hello, sir," LastHope forced its host to say, spinning around. Elda's consciousness struggled hard, sensing the strong Duelist aura coming off the newcomer, but LastHope forced her back. "Do you need something?" It asked, faking a shake of nervousness in the host's voice.

The ring around the volcano, has plenty of light due to the magma's boiling.

Just towards the back of the cliff, Pride's shadows appear with him stepping out of them.

He looks around, notes a few others in the area and smirks.

"I suppose this will be the spot where we'll get a hold of Nottu..."

He looks back at C.C. She remains in his cradle of shadows, along with Droite's body.

She'd regained some of her previous power. It wasn't much, probably only a mere 6%, but still, it was something. With a grim look on her face, a degree of remorse flashing over it, she looked at Pride. "Kill me. End this while you can, and just kill me. Please." A tear rolled down her cheek, as she said it.

He looked at her with a blank look on his face.

"Darling the only way to die is to duel. And if there's a chance that I could be taken out of this competition because of that, I'm not willing to take that yet."

"Then what when we're the only ones left ... Then what'll you do ... I mean I've elimitated two. You none. Isn't this the best time ... ?" She looked at him. If he wouldn't agree to just killing her, she'd suggest dueling, and she'd just give up. Right now, she was weak. Might as well exploit the fact.

Pride looks at her in her cradle.

"If it is the final two of us at the end, then we'll just duel... It's no big deal..."

He looks over at the other group of duelist...

"I mean... Wouldn't you rather duel someone like me, later on....? Rather than them...?"

She Sat up straight, having gained back enough energy for physical movement, however restricted. "Fair enough. We will, then. Until then, we stick together?"

He closes his eyes and focuses. His shadows lurking in all of the areas.

"Currently Nottu is dueling PhoenixOfPain... I suppose we should hope for his winning then..."

"If not, I'll just have to take out Phoenix." She came down from the shadows, then grabbed a hold of Pride's arm, and put her head against his shoulder. "Why were we picked out for this?"

He looks away.

"Who knows... Perhaps at random... Neither the less.... It's sure turning interesting..."

She smiled a bit, as she noticed him looking away. "Are you getting embarrassed?" Her arms had enclosed his, and hugged it tightly.

He looks down and frowns.

"I'm never embarrassed. I have no need for such emotions. I have only one emotion inside of me."

But he smirks.

"I would hope you now what that is."

The shadows all around them open and smile demonically.

"It's a sweet gesture however."

"If we were to survive this both, for some reason. I should teach you some emotions. Other then that single one." She keeps clinging to his arm. "So we wait ... "

The flight spell was going to wear off in a minute. Nottu moved as fast as he could possibly go in the arid air surrounding the magma-filled mountain. Who would go to a volcano to hide? Someone smart, he answered himself, no one really wants to go looking in a place that can kill you on its own.

With Phoenix and Augusto right with him, the elven spellcaster descended over the lip of the volcano, landing in the rocky ring around the pool of lava. "Pride!!" he shouted as he landed, "I know you're here! Show yourself!"

The volcano? Vevay hadn't been there just yet but it was better than that blasted overgrown woods. She thought that perhaps that she could somehow knock someone off into the top of that very active volcano so that she could win. She had to win. So many girls were depending on her. As long as she could continue to tribute herself, she could protect other families, even if it's just that one child.

Oh, how she would love to take down all of those who in the capital, or take over it and send those sorry, sick minded people into the games and have them duke it out. The images made her smile slightly more demonically than she should have but it was what she wanted to happen. Eventually, her smile faded away so that she could keep her mind clear so that she wouldn't be sneaked up on and couped.

". . . . . . I wonder if there is any food around here." Words came from the orange hair girl in a mere whisper. She was talking to no one and her words were only meant for her.
