So I don't always do reports but this one was worth doing. After coming off a subpar record last week of 2 wins, 1 loss and a bye. I knew I had to be at my A game today. This was a free tourney so only the top 2 players get prizes. Well, this was a happy day but I owe a lot to my friends and lady luck. But especially, today was my friend's sibling's birthday so I was nice enough to bring chocolate and somehow in return I got 2 tokens of thanks. So, lets delve in and those tokens will be revealed at the end. I played Chaos Dragons Redox.
Round 1: Chaos Dragons (incomplete deck) 2-0 with no siding
This game was over with in 10 minutes sadly. I was playing against a friend's friend who just got into the game with the deck being 1 Dragon's Collide deck and a bunch of extra cards so yeah, felt bad really.

Round 2: Hazy Flame Hieratics (2-1 with siding)
Oh my, this was close actually. Game 1 I barely beat him and Basiltrice with Rank 3 XYZs and old school knocking. Game 2 I open up horribly and pretty much scoop after a few turns. Game 3, Breakthrough Skill and Effect Veiler got the better of him, thank goodness, its nuts. Oh before I forget, a ton of luck on my side, my opponent opened really bad in game 3.

Round 3: Gladiator Beasts (2-1 with siding)
Oh my goodness, I thought I was gonna lose this match! My worst enemy is the War Chariot! On top of the recycling! Again, a lot of luck on my side. Game 1 after 2 turns I scoop due to War Chariot being a total derp, DX. Game 2 and 3 is where I should be really lucky, he did not open or draw into any War Chariots then. Though also in game 2, he had heavy backrow with no starlight road, so using heavy storm in that game felt awesome. :DI just simply did my thing and beat his face down while using my siding to eliminate the backrow as a threat.

Round 4/Final Round: Inzektors (2-1 with siding)
Oh boy, this was back and forth. Game 1 I won tight ended. Game 2 I open horribly and lost very quickly. Game 3, again, lady luck. I overextended on a turn he played Threatening Roar but I was very fortunate that his hand had nothing to counter so I was able to finish very quickly after that.

So me and another guy, a mermail player went 4-0 and we splitted top prize of 2 packs each person. I opted for 2 packs of Battle Pack 2 and notably pulled Chaos Hunter!
Now those tokens of thanks I was saying earlier before the tourney? Here are the reveals, Lavalval Chain and Breakthrough Skill. The Lavalval Chain was already gonna be presented but when the girls got a Booster Box of Battle Pack 2 at the store, they pulled the nuts, XD, Slifer, Breakthrough Skill, Forbidden Lance, Overworked, and many other good reprints and made their money back from the box. They knew I was missing a Breakthrough Skill, but they were nice enough to let me have it, so I owe the girls plenty
