Afternoon. Gallows wandered around the lake, not quite sure what to expect. It seemed to be quite isolated and cut off by the big jungle that streched around it. As he walked at lakeside, his own steps on the squishy soil made him feel uncomfortable. "I need to get out of here.", he mumbled to himself just as he detected a few footsteps right on the same path he was walking right now. The steps on the wet ground ended appruptly, meaning either the person that left them suddenly vanished or stepped away from the lake, in the jungle's direction. Unfortunatly, he could imagine both to be equally true. He stepped away from the lake, in search for dry spot, put down the satchel making sure the Duel Disk he had attached to it's strap wouldn't touch the wet grass. "I have two options: Stay here overnight or try to get through the jungle before it gets dark. Both seem equally repulsive." Gallows said, apparently talking to himself. Truth is, he was talking to the stars, that were yet hidden by sunlight but would soon re-emerge in the darkness of the night. He grabed his satchel, swung it over his head back onto his shoulder with a big sigh and approached the jungle with the intention of collection firewood. His descision was made: He would spend the night at the lake.

The water pressure was immense. Not something she was used to do, and it cost her every bit of willpower not to let go. But, as she was keeping the water in place, the crab came back to her, and it started to crawl up against a boot. Not able to get far, it started to pinch.


One pinch was all it took, and C.C. lost the concentration she had built up. She felt the water slipping from her control, and without warning to Pride, it flowed down, rushing back into place, trying to make up for its absence. It came down as a tidal wave, obliderating the Temple, in merely a second time. For Pride there was no escape. If the blow didn't kill him, then the pressure would. Or the lack of oxygen. Whichever would be first.


C.C. looked at the water, trying to settle again. She just killed Pride. Without intend. Without the will to. She killed Pride. The crab pinched her again, snapping her out of it, and she looked down at the little creature. She picked it up, setting it on her shoulder. The water had calmed again, and it looked just as silent as before they had come here. But this time, it concealed more then jsut Pride's deck. It concealed him as well.


[Out Of Character: I did not make this decision lightly. I consulted both Blazer and Nottu, and both agreed, a coin flip was best. It landed on heads, and Blazer has proof of it.]

"I hope this is enough" Gallows cringed as he walked back to the lake, with a huge mount of firewood on his shoulders. He put it down around the same spot he had sat down before, grabed his satchel and pulled a folded tent out, that seemed to be way too big for the normal sized bag he wears on his shoulder. The young man grabs into it again, pulling out a big stack of paper and a lighter. Utilities to help him make his long desired fire. Yet again, his hand disappeared in the magic satchel and pulled out a fishing rod with a swinging movement, like it was a sword.

Once everything was set up, Gallows felt somewhat comfortable for the first time. He sat down at his tent's entrance, close to the fire and had a look at what he caught: A medium sized fish, black scales and sharp, pointy teeth. It looked just as repulsive as the lake it was pulled out of, but ultimatly the stomach won over the brain, and was ultimatly grilled and eaten with great pleasure. "Well, could have been worse." the eating man said to his invisible interlocutor.

Not much later, he had retreated back into his tent, to get some rest, when he was unceremoniously ripped out of his sleep by what sounded like a huge wave. He jumped up and out of the tent, and faced a huge, floating sphere of water. Oddly enough, he didn't seem as surprise as one might think, as in fact, Gallows had been just waiting for the first absolutly crazy thing to happen. He was expecting something crazy, but this was even beyond that. With his eyes fixated on the floating lake, he sat back down at his tent's entrance, oddly amused. Out of nothing the masses of water came crashing back down, into their original position, burying whatever was at the lake's bottom. 

Once the water was gone from mid-air, Gallows could see across the lake again, and indeed he spotted a person, or what he tought was a person. Dressed fully on white and with long green hair it was hard not to spot the newcomer, even in the darkness. 

As he stood up, he grabed his satchel and placed the strap back around his shoulders, the Duel Disk was still hanging on it, and it might be of use soon enough. Too soon maybe. 
Approaching the person he spotted, he grabbed into his satchel and pulled out a packet of cigarettes, light one and took a deep breath. As he exhaled the smoke, his thoughts circulated around the odd person he just spotted, of which he tought to be a girl. "If it was her to lift up the water, I could be in serious trouble. Maybe I shouldn't..." Although his head told him not to approach her, something drew him to the girl that had already turned her back to him. He took another deep drag and fastened up his pace.
