| First topic message reminder :Nottu here and I'm running a new tournament soon! I have collected various ideas for them and am letting everyone choose the next one! Please vote ASAP!
Once the Poll closes, I will setup a sign-up, yadda yadda yadda etc etc.
Quick Summaries of each tournament theme:
Character Decks
Each participant will be allowed to choose any character from the four anime series and build a deck based on that character's deck. Certain Characters will NOT be permitted (Such as any characters who played decks with 50% or more FAKE/Anime only cards)
Deck Master OBC
Now everyone surely remembers the infamous Deck Master format I made a while back. Well now you may be asking "What is OBC?" OBC stands for: One Banned Card.
I will have exclusive rules on Deck Master OBC should it be choosen, but know this: the One Banned Card CANNOT be the Deck Master.
Field Decks
Suggested by Logan, these format will require participants to build a deck centered around a Field Spell Card. You will have to run as many copies of that card as you can, with some exceptions.
Archetype Limited
Suggested by Archon Dark Heart, I think MajinKev, Participants will be limited to only running Monsters of a particular archetype. FOr instance: If someone were to choose Lightsworns, then they could only play monsters with Lightsworn in their card name. Exceptions to this are Archetype Bosses such as Judgment Dragon.
The players will also need to run at least 1 copy of EACH Spell or Trap card that is a support of this archetype (Unless the archetype is overly supported like Elemental HERO)

| I meant rules not description but I'll assume you'll have that up if the character decks win. Considering I make decisions based on what I'm allowed to put in my deck.

| Character decks will be Advanced Format. (Maybe Traditional). 40-60 card decks. At least half of the cards used in the deck MUST be cards that were actually used by that character.
Character decks CANNOT include cards that were never seen in that character's time (Such as Synchro monsters showing up in Joey Wheeler's deck) but newer cards can be permitted provided you can:
a. Prove it was a card in the character's deck in the anime, manga, or a video game.
b. Can logically state WHY that card should be in their deck. |
