| Now the question from the wording is, does it only work with fusion monsters that require Legendary Dragon Timaeus? Cause if not, you can use this card to make Dark Paladin and Dark Flare Knight, which would be cool |

| I really can't expect much considering the massive nerf to the Seal of Orichalcos. I'm personally just kind of hoping they release Soldier Revolt so Science Soldier can sweep meta :/ |

| That's not the proper wording.... The Eye of Timaeus - Normal Spell Card (This card is also always treated as "Legendary Dragon Timaeus".) | All right, I'm gonna sound like a devoted fan-boy here but...SOMEONE explain to me how this is such a "bad" card?
The Eye of Timaeus was Yugi's Legendary Dragon and was used with his Dark Magician Girl to make DMG the Dragon Knight. Now, considering that Dark Magician is Yugi's ace card, and Timaeus was his dragon, and the Legendary Dragons did nothing except "fuse" with cards to make stronger ones, then this card makes total sense. The Legendary Dragons were not themselves ever used as powerful monsters until they became the Legendary Knights.
Is it "bad" because they made it work only for "Dark Magician" monsters? Oh no, heaven forbid the series' most iconic Ace monster have new support after his rival got an entire new deck with more support.

| The reason I even say its a bad card is because, like Muh said, the monster in question has to be on the field. On top of that the only two good fusions you could potentially bring out are Dark Paladin and Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight. Both of which are ok and everything but its just not all that great imo. |

The only point in the card is to bring out Mirage Knight which I can say it slightly better because it basically has Honest built into its effect. Problem is that its a one-shot card. Once you use it its banished. That's not even saying that people couldn't just counter its attack anyway. |
