| First topic message reminder :On Tuesday next week, the Orichalcos Hunger Games 2.0 will be launched. Sign-ups will begin then, as well as that is to when your character customization needs to be done as well.
The games will be different from the last one, but this time definitely for the better. New characters provide completely new possibilities, (so yes, everyone must create a new character!)
New rules include the following:
1. Just like last time, this event is a fight to the death. Once eliminate from the games, you may not reenter the arena.
2. We're making superpowers or special abilities, or whatever you want to call them, completely banned this time. It just seemed like several plays (myself included) were a little too over powered.
3. With rule two, we are allowing something special however. Deck masters will be implemented this time and more will be explained with how they will operate.
4. Just as last time, no interfering with old player's bodies.
5. Decks that cannot be used. This is a big one. We're making all decks limited to everything but on any tier. This means that any deck on tier 1, 2, or 3 cannot be used. It just seemed as if last time people were only getting beaten because they selected poor decks.

I do hope that every realizes that this isn't anything personal, but it just seems necessary. If you believe any deck should be added or removed, feel free to post below.
6. Just like last time, areas will be implemented. A new map will be posted soon hopefully.
7. A big one, once asked to duel, You. Must. Duel. No acceptations, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.
I believe this covers most of the rules. This event will run mostly like it did last time. Posting from topic to topic.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this, so everyone be thinking of new characters and ideas for events.

| That's pretty much it. But it would make it so you could use any deck... Erph... Maybe we just want to do it with only these OP decks then?

| I don't think limiting every single card to 1 is going to be beneficial in any way whatsoever. Any deck that is even remotely consistent has at least 2-3 copies of at least 1 card. If you want to do it with banned decks I think they'll just more so suck overall to the point that nobody would use them. The limiting of every card in the game to 1 just seems like a useless rule. |

| I don't like the idea of limiting EVERY card in a deck to 1 is a good idea, it would probably just be better if you left the list as it is. It makes it much more interesting to see what people are using. And I agree with Fluff Fluff it would be a useless rule to limit every card to 1 the consistency of deck just drops. |

Im not crazy about this idea myself. It makes some cards darn near situational. It also limits some plays  wind-ups would be completely useless in this tourney due to this idea. Chain Beat would also suffer. DONt even get me started on heros you get my point. I dont think it should stay, but thats just my onion  . |

| Coolest lets just toss the idea of playing Chain Beat, matter fact lets ban: Chain Beat, Rock Stun. Cause day um they are broken and no one likes vsing them. |

| Honestly, using the "One-Of" rule makes decks intereting and shows who has the serious skills if they can use each card to their advantage even without mulitples. |

which is why it sounds like a good idea for its own tournament also shinras are now called Sylvan so somebody may wanna fix the op |

| As I stated previously in the Chat, this limitation will encourage more ACTUAL role playing and less focus on "building a deck that can sweep everyone."
Something I suggested last time: "If you lose Life Points in a Duel, you do not start with full LP in the next duel THAT DAY. If you rest overnight, you regain LP for the day's duels." |

alternately that could mean an infinite lp deck would be the best choice in this tourny So we make Life Point gaining cards illegal? Honestly that makes sense, considering the whole theme of the RP is the Hunger Games. |

| I still don't agree with the limitation of every card in the game. Yea it opens up every deck in the game but the fact of the matter is that every deck is going to be such a watered down version of itself. As far as making it close to the anime/role-playing, I don't even understand that. Kaiba had 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons, Mai had like 24 Harpie Ladies between all of the anime effects, and Zane had 3 Cyber Dragons. Yea a good chunk of the anime had duelists that only had one copy of each card, but the fact of the matter is that the anime is so ridiculously far away from what actual dueling is. Yugi only needed 1 copy of every card for the simple fact that he could draw whatever he needed whenever he needed.
I do think though, that if you're going to unban all the decks in that list, apply this rule to them. That's what I've heard from a few people would be best, although that still doesn't make sense to me because frankly I couldn't see myself running Hieretics with one copy of each dragon. .-. At that point, I don't even think anyone would run them anyway.
On another note though, the lifepoint rule does make sense. Cards that increase lifepoints should be banned if we're going to apply that. Granted any major lifepoint deck (Macro absorption, etc) is more or less out of date nowadays but just to be safe I think they should be banned. |

| Understandable, but to be honest I think that Pride killed like 70% of the decks everybody would use with that list lol. If I join I'll more than likely be using my Mist Valley build which is far from a good deck compared to many of the banned ones. I think with the ban list up it'll at least open more options for decks that are underrated and maybe give them a chance to shine, so I wouldn't worry about people making decks that can OTK or sweep a field in a matter of turns. |

| We've decided. The final ruling so far is that you can use whatever deck, but of these 30 decks up here, all of the cards that include the decks archetype name in their name or effect will be limited. Otherwise you can use whatever. (Besides burn/alternate win). It'll be clarified again upon the final post and when it starts.
