It's Coming...

On Tuesday next week, the Orichalcos Hunger Games 2.0 will be launched. Sign-ups will begin then, as well as that is to when your character customization needs to be done as well.

The games will be different from the last one, but this time definitely for the better. New characters provide completely new possibilities, (so yes, everyone must create a new character!)

New rules include the following:

1. Just like last time, this event is a fight to the death. Once eliminate from the games, you may not reenter the arena.

2. We're making superpowers or special abilities, or whatever you want to call them, completely banned this time. It just seemed like several plays (myself included) were a little too over powered.

3. With rule two, we are allowing something special however. Deck masters will be implemented this time and more will be explained with how they will operate.

4. Just as last time, no interfering with old player's bodies.

5. Decks that cannot be used. This is a big one. We're making all decks limited to everything but on any tier. This means that any deck on tier 1, 2, or 3 cannot be used. It just seemed as if last time people were only getting beaten because they selected poor decks.

I do hope that every realizes that this isn't anything personal, but it just seems necessary. If you believe any deck should be added or removed, feel free to post below.

6. Just like last time, areas will be implemented. A new map will be posted soon hopefully.

7. A big one, once asked to duel, You. Must. Duel. No acceptations, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.

I believe this covers most of the rules. This event will run mostly like it did last time. Posting from topic to topic.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this, so everyone be thinking of new characters and ideas for events.

Some decks you might want to ban as well, what you probably didn't know due to not being able to go on DN, are Ghostrick and Shinra. Also. Chain Beat, gtfo :l

All this seems ok, but why ban heraldic again? It's still a hit or miss deck that really only targets xyz.

Those were updated recently, weren't they? And I guess I will since they do seem to have gained a lot of popularity.

The last time we had this event C.C.'s deck was so overpowered that it basically ruined the event (Not C.C.'s fault at all). No one wanted to duel him and when they did, they lost. So be removing all of these powerful decks, it allows anyone to win and not one person just to smoke through people.

I agree with the deck banning being so high. This'll open up a new range of decks to use that normally not a lot of people would ever use. I didn't take part in the last hunger games (I wasn't even around back then) so i'm a little noob to this. What exactly takes place? Something like the earthbound event?

I believe what we've decided is to make every card limited so that everyone may use these decks, but that all their cards are limited.
