From now on ODA will have a council of 4 members these 4 members will be the only admins (there will also be mods) whenever a issue comes up such as banning, making someone a mod, or demodding someone,etc. the 4 council members will discuss this and vote best 3 out of 4 wins. This is to help stop any bias decisions.
Originally i was going to wait a week before deciding the council members however i can't do everything on the site for a week.
so i will have the current 4 people set up and announced at the end of this post along with the reasons why i chose them. At the end of every week other members will be considered for council although it will be very hard to join without any council members going inactive
speaking of which if a council member goes inactive they must tell the other council members why they will be inactive, how long they will be gone for, etc. during the time they are gone all votes will be 2 out of 3 rather than 3 out of 4.
If a council member goes inactive without giving a reason or is inactive longer than they said they would be a new member will be decided upon by the remaining 3 members.

He has saved the site and as i said before without him ODA wouldn't be here right now. Every complain about him was saying the he was just de-admining people because they were rivals, however, now he can still do everything he was doing with out it being possible for him to just take out people because they are his "rivals" (and im not saying this is why the people were de-admined im just saying what the de-admined people said)

3. ventriloquist
He is needed for his abilities to make GFX and roleplays. if oda ever needs a new banner or anything we need him for that and we can't have roleplays without him.

4. open spot
If you think you deserve the 4th spot post below telling me why you should be on the council and what you can offer ODA as an admin.

I know i don't "deserve" it per say, but i would do my best to help the academy be better than ever and i would do my best to be active everyday and i would just be a great help. Ive been around since the original ODA. Ive been many different Things, like tester for example. I feel, that noone desserves that spot, but with my ODA history, i would come a tad bit close to it.

I've got a lot of experience as admin at an academy called NDC i would also do my best here as an admin to make this thing even better i am in between top active membes in the academy plus 4 hours a day and i've been here before lot of people here i've seen this academy trough it's worst and trough it's best you might don't know me cause we are diff time zones and don't see each other much so that's proly you won't give me this position cause you don't trust me enough but i'm telling ya i would and will help anyone who needs help look into every problem solve any issue i'm not saying i'm an angel myself i wasn't the good little kid i had few infractions but not any recently i'm improving and would reaaly like to make this place as best as it could posibly be i can also recruit i will do anything. I also stand by my word and won't be pushed around but i'm not above to be proven wrong if i do anything wrong i'll try to make it better and be as best as i can. So much from me. Thanks for reding.

Also to everyone who wants the final spot please list any skills you have with being an admin or GFX or anything that you can do as an admin that none of the other admins can. this will make it more likely for me to choose you but it is not required.

Even though my stay at ODA has been short, about two months, I am qualified for the job. I am one of the most active players on all of ODA despite my insanely busy schedule. Because of my high activity I have gotten the roll of a moderator and tester starting two weeks ago. Also, I am currently member of the month. This is all because in my time I have yet to get myself even a warning from someone. Other than ODA I do not have much experience with duel academy positions like this, however.
Whenever I make a big decision I have always given it thought and provided myself and sometimes others with evidence. I am extremely detail oriented and look for the connotation and tone of things that go with the background as well as the current situation and concerns for the future.

I just want to put in my two cents. Anyone who thinks they can get the spot by saying what they WILL do or what they CAN do is sadly mistaken, at least in my opinion. If you want the spot, it may serve better using contributions you have made as evidence to back up your claim of being the best choice. Also, I want to stop this before it happens again. Using past staff as examples of what you will or won't do, or comparing people or yourself to them is NOT a good way to make a good impression. Also: When you post, be literate. Do spell/grammar check. If I have any say in the council, these are all things I will be looking for.

I can't claim i did anything cause i've never been into a position here of doing so i am literate as i said i keep up a word anyone can confirm you that i could kill a guy for saying " you didn't keep up a promise" or " you are a liar" i don't have much of a case if i don't compare myself cause i've been in this academy before most of the members and only stayed at the sidelines and looked how other people got improved and promoted even if i was better than them and try as much as they did or even harder but anywho i'm stepping up and taking my shot.And only thing i can claim is that i think i did i great job getting NDC on it's legs and got support from all my members. I am also a tester with tests with no complaints.

You may be asking, why would he say thank you after getting the counsel spot, perhaps to some it may seem a bit of like being arrogant in a sneaky way. No, I thank you because I wanted to help. I really, REALLY, wanted this spot, I voiced it maybe once or twice, did not go on and on about it but in my heart I really love this site. Not to say this is evidence of my ability, but evidence of my heart rather. I have been in quite a few "Forums" one lasting for four years. It is HARD, let me tell you guys, HARD to stay strong. we have discussed this in chat and have decided to make it a 3 member council for now.
this will avoid a 2-2 tie as it must either be 2-1 or 3-0. it was also discussed that this might not be enough which is why i originally said 4. however we decided to start at 3 and if that isn't enough then we can add a 4th or even a 5th member later on.
sorry to anyone who had there hopes up of becoming a council member but you still have a chance (if 3 doesn't work out.)

If I may note, I ran a forum for 4 years with 3 admins. It was work, but it got done. The trinity is a good number. But again, there are benefits to ALL numbers. Even with a tie it can be used to force a delay on some rather touchy subjects, hahaha. But anyway, that is all.

I'm with vent if 2 admins overpower the 3rd the 3rd will feel like he's underestamated and things are only going to get even worse with 4 or more of them there will maybe be a tie but no one will fee like he's disrespected or diffrent. Anyways that's my opinion maybe it's not a good opinion but it's still my opinion.

5 is too much. 3 is perfectly fine. If 2 "overpower" the other one, that is called democracy. I am confident that they will all listen to each other, hear out what each of them has to say and then make their descision based on what they think is best for the site. Should they come to diffrent opinions, the one with more votes win, which is, as I said already, democracy. If people cannot accept that, the council is pointless. The reason this was created is to prevent one admin to judge solely upon his own point of view, and this way it is secured that he gets at least one other point of view and he needs the agreement of another admin to execute his ideas.

4 is an even number and it would ultimatly lead to important descisions beeing stalled and possibly never happen, due to them not all agreeing with each other. 5 people would be WAY too much, thinking about how relativly low the number of ALWAYS active members is. We would have the chatbox filled with nothing but admins.
To me 3 is the perfect number for such a thing.
