Hello.

I'm a user of DN and found this place somewhere along the way, thought I'd drop by and see what there is. I'm interesting in playing a few games, meeting new folks and learning the deeper and theoretical side of the game.

I tend not to use meta decks like Lightsworn or Six-Samurai. I currently use a Ninja toolbox deck as well as a Karakuri OTK but I'm working on a Wetlands deck for a few laughs.

Anyways, I dunno how long I'll be around. Might be a few days or I may become a rather active member, all depends on what you guys are like Smile

Hello and welcome to ODA, I'm DarkSoul, both a moderator and tester here, even though I only posted my room yesterday I have actually been here for quite a few months which you can see in my profile details.

I'm interested in learning more about the rule side of the game, I know the basics don't get me wrong, and I know how chains resolves, costs, summoning conditions. But there is always more to learn, hopefully I might even become a Konami Judge one day.

What games do you play? I play Dueling Network, obviously, and Pokemon Showdown, I used to play Runescape but I don't really have the time for that anymore, I was going to get into Star Wars: The Old Republic a while back but my current computer isn't fast enough for such a flashy game.

And no, the chatbox is not an Internet Relay Chat.

The thing I'm focusing on the most right now is proper use of the side deck. I have no trouble with my main and extra deck, I'm fairly good at making a synergistic deck, but the side has always given me trouble especially in the current meta. Figuring out what's needed is a very interesting challenge for me.

Well we all used to play Runescape, eh! I play a hell of a lot of Dota 2 and I'm part of the one of the major clans in Command & Conqueror: Renegade X. I'm pretty damn nerdy, in all honesty as I also have a big appreciation for traditional gaming such as card games (obviously) and also things like Warhammer.

In regards to the meta: Lightsworn and Sams ain't it. Wetlands is probably better than Karakuri atm though, Era of Control.

Tell that to the DN ladder. The only 3 decks I ever seem to play against are Madolche, Lightsworn and Sams!

Sams are bad atm. I don't really see them being played. You're lucky to have such match-ups though.

Agreed, most people, in this case, me, play against Shaddolls, Rulersworn, HAT, Burning Abyss, Madolches, Star Serraphs and even Quilphofs.
