I'm gonna make Serpent Night Dragon a force to be reckoned with. Science Soldier OTK was yesterday's meta. Today's meta: cloudy with a chance of SERPENT NIGHT DRAGON + RITUAL SPAM DEATH METEOR SHOWER



Idk. It looks legit. Someone willing to give opinions or advice to make it better? >.>

Current build is this:



It still has a lot of work but I'm trying to vary a few things and come up with new ideas for it. It's doing pretty well for itself honestly. Just needs a little more tweaking in my opinion.

the djinn engine only works well when you focus on 1 ritual monster, otherwise it takes too much space + contract and ARA require EXACT levels so djinns aren't nearly as useable. With this build you use the ritual monsters as the tributes FOR the other ritual monsters :POh and i included grepher cuz he's basically the xyz engine of the deck (Always love emeral in vanilla decks <3) also, laval can send ARA for rites spam. Also consider photon thrasher, it sounds weird but he's a good beatstick and he's a light for bls or xyz with manju. Replace 3 upstart for duality's and maybe trap stuns? DAD shud be in main, i can't believe i missed that one in the first build >< I really hope this deck succeeds cause you already know i'm a fellow vanilla user and love ritual monsters just as much x3 (Hell my name was rel1nquished at one time)

Grepher I'm just testing taking out of the deck currently to see how it'll work. The upstarts I put in rather than dualities just for the sake that I'm usually trying to get out my ritual monsters as soon as possible. Photon thrasher + DaD i'm considering as well. The deck is just going through a lot of trial and error at the moment. If I had more time to test it it'd go a lot more smoothly but I don't have much of it :/

Serpent night dragon got into my top 10favorites just from your idea fluff. If I can get my hands on a Draco irl I'm definitely gonna try a ruler build for myself

At this point a ruler build won't work as well unless you're a highly experienced e-drag player and know how to work things. More or less I'd recommend this setup atm:

I like it but I think you should run Reckless Greed over Upstart Goblin and include Skill Drain, Hieratic Dragons of Tefnuit and Su, and throw in Skill Drain because most of your cards don't activate on the field anyway. Keep up the good work, though!

Time out for a second. Don, the hieratic are levels 5 and 6, snd is level 7. How in the hell do you plan to even do that? serpent knight dragon wouldn't do anything, it'd have no synnergy. Prove me wrong and try it though, i'd love to see it :3

Throw in some Dragon Rulers and problem solved. I have a deck that runs Seiyaryu and works great.

If you throw dragon rulers into a deck that has 3 dragons ur gonna have a bad time.

Your only allowed 3 serpents the way I see it your always gonna have more of ANY archetype then that.

And this is why the Serpent Night Ritual doesn't have archtypes .-. Serpent Night Dragon IS the deck

It IS the main engine. Let's compare it to blue-eyes:
Used for synchro: Yes
Used for xyz: night dragon is used more ;o
Used for draw engine: 7-star and allure to your trade in
Sent from deck: Dragon shrine <<< Advanced Ritual
Monsters based around it: ALL OF THE MONSTERS vs your maiden and stones ;o
And we use it as ritual fodder which blue eyes doesn't even get into. We can also use skill drain which is for night dragon, even though it's fine with blue-eyes you guys don't run it, why? Because blue-eyes isn't as much a focus in your deck as serpent night dragon is to ours.
So ours is more night dragon based
Also, deck is called 7 dark rituals >_> Your sposed to run 7 level 7 dark ritual monsters cuz that ties in with the name more :3

Nu I like the deck the way it is now >.>
