I would like to propose an official ODA gfx shop.

@ Loki, I think it's a good idea to allow other members to have the option to purchase their own GFX shop. I'm just suggesting the academy have a shop with reliable, high quality GFXs.

@ C.C. I agree completely, what I did was uncalled for but to some degree had to be done. Also, I can't deny that I'm busy irl, but now that I'm back managing this will be fine. Anyways, I think it's worth a shot at a trial run. I'd like to be in charge of it, as well as having mod powers over the topic. If it fails and there are no reliable GFX artist, then you could just as easily close it.

It's a possibility, but I think the cons outweigh the pros. Unless you could think of some way to be sure, completely sure to keep the shop up and running and EFFICIENTLY putting out GFX. I mean, if it fails at doing that, it falls back on the entire academy, not just those who were supposed to keep it up.

Oi Oi how bout best of both worlds? 1 Shop, multiple workers. You workers can decide among yourselves who will take the job and if they customer would like they would be able to request someone specifically. Provided the person they request is up for doing it. Hell make it competitive also if you'd like :p If the workers both want the job they can both do it and have the customer decide which they'll like.

@ L that's the problem. There aren't enough efficient workers at the moment to manage anything, otherwise I don't really see why the GFX shop would an issue. I like the idea though, a competition sounds fun!

@ Evil, I think I'll retract my suggestion until there are, if there are, ever more gfxers then. As far as shops go, gfxs are the hardest to maintain and the most likely to close (as proven by other acads in the past). However, I think it really says something about an academy when they're able to meet their communities needs to this extent. Hopefully something can work out better in the future.
