Angel of Zera

So I came across this card while checking on some of the latest videos from the WCQ. It looks like a really good card to me.

Its a generic Level 8 Synchro (so it needs no specifics on Tuners or anything) and its text reads:

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

This card gains 100 ATK for each of your opponent's banished cards. During the Standby Phase of the next turn after this card was banished:Special Summon this banished card. You can only use the effect of "Angel of Zera" once per turn.

Now personally, I see this being a brilliant card to be a potential answer to facing Spellbooks and E Dragons, considering it will get a nice power buff off of their main plays. Secondly, it has great synergy with Macro Cosmos, a card that has not seen play in a long time. It can come back from being banished, including if it gets banished from your graveyard for something like BLS or Master Hyperion.

And to top it all off, the art is stellar. So let me know what you guys think of this card. I personally want one and think it will benefit a lot of decks.

Looks like a Magic card if you ask me, but I want one. ^_^
He'd be good for a E-Hero deck, right?

I don't think he would be good FOR the Heroes as much as he would be good AGAINST them, considering E Hero decks make a lot of Miracle plays for The Shining.

Yeah. Shining gets the power boost by having heroes in the banished. I guess I was thinking the other way around. ^^;; Ooops.

If you're running that E-Teledolche deck still, then you might be able to use it there.

Let's see, E-Tele Madolche...I'm going to guess its similar to the ones I've seen at locals so you're likely running Esper Girl and Serene Psychic Witch right?

the artwork reminds me of magic the gathering.

The card is pretty awesome though. you already said everything i was gonna say for it.

actually konami hired artists who used to work for MTG they have gone on to design cards like prophecy destroyed and the noble knight cards , i see this card in any macro based deck since it will make him an almost immortal super beater with few outs like compulse and big eye to combat him i see it being a 1 of in agents but outside of those 2 decks i dont see in being anywhere else .....also the thing is beautiful

Technically, it could be used to Miracle for Shining and it would summon itself next turn, providing another big beater. Just that Heroes cant get out Synchros easily.

This is true. I've seen, however, several HERO playing friends at locals tech in Vylon Prism or Rose, Warrior of Revenge in their HERO decks.

Vylon Prism is a neat choice. Works for The Shining plays as well as offering some Synchro power. Not bad

I just had a thought: This card can easily be used in a Dragon build as well. For one, Dragon Rulers are all Level 7, so you only need a Level 1 Tuner. Also, with the new Blue-Eyes deck coming out, you could in fact run it with them as well. Might be a little trickier but could be a decent tech.
