Add a Portal

i think u should add a portal ,there are many reasons as to why for example: Posting tournament winners,Affiliates(If Any),Music player,And like a slideshow that shows what the academy can offer(for new members) most academies have one why shouldn't we ? Razz

Well at the current time based off the review we didn't use the portal as it was basically a waste of space and we don't have that many ridiculous amounts of Widgets. Tbh I think that the slideshow should take in place of the chatbox and keep the pop-up one.

I prefer having a legitimate chatbox on the screen. The pop-up is nice to have for while you are posting and talk at the same time, but I hate having Chat in a completely separate window, don't care what that review said.

I agree with Tai. The Chatbox on the front page is completely unnecessary, and it is only in a different window for some... SOME phones and such, because the phones cannot support it (Dunno why as of yet) but most of the more popular phones can and do. With the chatbox on the forum Index, with the widgets column so wide, it looks big and unorganized.

I don't know if the page just looks different on your screen, but I don't see it looking unorganized.

It very much depends on your screen and it's resolution. I have a 1920x1080 resolution and my front page looks perfectly fine with the chatbox. Also, the pop-up chatbox looks way smaller than the other because it is located in the corner. The chatbox is probably the most prominent and most popular feature of any academy and we should potray it as such.

Also: You guys should get to an agreement before changing stuff around. Chatbox appeared, now it disappeared again and I bet it will appear soon again. That just seems like in admin-intern war or struggle for power going on for other people and is unprofessional.

It is at the bottom now, so I don't think it ever disappeared in the first place.

Lol, this is going to get confuzzling to people. I think that, instead of arguing where a chatbox goes, the admins should be doing things like the GFX, (Seriously broham, either put banners on all the forums or none) and other shiz that should be at the top of the bucket list, like regulating the staff.

Also: If we can make actual use of it this time (like REALLY USE IT) The portal idea wouldn't be too bad.

Personally, I do not know how to get rid of the pop up chat. Kairi put it in there and I cannot find it anywhere.

evil speaking of banners i offered them to do banners for the forum they said they're gonna discuss it ,still i got no answer so idk bout that and coolest ye we got no portal that's why i suggested it i think it can be useful anyway guys why not make a poll or something about it

War? I only posted my opinion. I haven't even been on to keep changing the chatbox codes e.e People aren't doing their part on the GFX manner.. Sadly we don't have enough good people wanting to take the spot, and firing said people won't help. Not much we can do there =l
